Food was the best part. Seating is picnic tables and you walk up to the counter to order. Accordingly, I didn't tip. Maybe I should have because she brought out our food in a styrofoam container (for 2 of us). She wasn't friendly and hardly greeted us. I think they were happy when we left.
Review Source:Worst BBQ ever. Â Completely inedible. Â When I read the reviews that were posted that raved about this place I was really suspicious. Â And sure enough, Yelp chose to "filter" the negative reviews. Â Don't be taken in by the four+ star rating. Â Save your money and your stomach, and go to Putters instead if your craving ribs.
This place doesn't even deserve one star.
I don't think there's anything here I can't suggest. I had the Granny (quarter chicken, hot link, and two sides (I had potato salad and macaroni and cheese)) and it was delicious. This place has only been open a few weeks, and definitely deserves a try.
The place is limited on seating, and parking is out on the street for the most part. The locals park across the street in the empty lot, so that's a suggestion as well.
Fat Daddy's is a small place in an old building in Chowchilla. The place doesn't look like much, but don't let it put you off.
The food is really good!
I had Ribs and Tri-Tip with Chili and Pasta Salad. The meat had a good smoke flavor and was tender. The Chili was very good.
There is no other BBQ restaurant anywhere near hear, so I hope everyone supports this place. I will definitely go back.
