Fiesta Mexicana

I was in town for a week working on a project when our team decided to do dinner at this place. Having moved to the cities from California I've been ardently searching for a place in Minnesota with some decent mexican food and I'll have to say, this hit the spot!

I ordered steak fajitas for dinner (I'd like to say it was less than $10) and received a small mountain of meat on its own plate, a second plate full of the standard fajita fare (beans, rice, roasted green peppers and onions, etc), and a stack of fresh tortillas. This was definitely one of the best fajita plates I've had in recent memory, enough so that I have since driven to Red Wing from the cities just to visit this place. The beverages (I had a Pina Colada for the heck of it) were pretty decent too.

Quite tasty dishes, and the rice & beans that accompany each meal actually had some FLAVOR! Very nice service & good drinks. Would go back... it's one of the best options in Red Wing (NOT a thriving culinary metropolis).

Tried their sister property in Lake City, Fiesta Jalisco... Their menu still says "vegetarian * " the asterisk notes that there is lard in the refried beans... Thus making them non-vegetarian.  Hmmmm.  Too bad, as a good Mexican restaurant was missing in LC & RW.
