  Best menu and food in Byron, but as previous reviewers have said- it's Byron. The food seems to be the freshest around, and its nice to have an option that is not Italian food. However, the service is hit or miss. We usually have to wait along while. One time it was so bad my husband almost left with our son before the food came out because the poor boy got so tired while waiting. It's definitely more pricey than other places in Byron, but the food is better. The panookie is awesome! The salmon is good, but nothing special. Same for the salads.

  Don't done here if you don't have at least an hour to spare. We came in for lunch. Only a few tables were seated and we waited 40 minutes for lunch. Our Chicken Quesadillas were decent but the Asian salad had only a few chunks of chicken, a few strips of green pepper and one half of a peapod! The food isn't bad but the service is always slow.

  best beer selection in byron (but that's not saying much) and i've never been impressed with the food or service. news flash: there are bars in chicago that charge less for much better food and drinks. time to get a grip.

  Went on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch.
  Have had great experiences here for dinner, but lunch was terrible.
  It took almost 15 minutes for our waitress to come take our order.
  
  Overall, very slow, poor service.
  Do not think I will return, unless it is for drinks.

  I want to hate this place for personal reasons, but the food is damn good.  I have never had a bad meal here.  A bit pricey for Byron, but usually worth it.  Decorated with firehouse schlock, the design is odd but remains classy.  If you're looking for a quiet night out, go during the week.  This place belongs to the local broskis and wannabe frat boys Friday & Saturday nights.
