Local bar with local people. It's usually an unfortunate high school and sadly, even middle school reunion in this place but then again thats what happens when you go to bars around your own zip code...
Bar is typical with decently cheap drinks and beer. On occasion the owner or the drunkest bartender will get wasted and give out free shots, poured directly from the bottle to your throat, while standing on the bar....Doesn't get any better right??
The bouncer is not bad unless you're a dick, are drunk, or have a fake...Pretty sure they use a scanner to check too sometimes. So stay out kiddles!!
Doesn't get poppin until 11 or so. Expect to step in someone's puke on your way out so watch it. Â 7-11 is open 24/7 nearby for drunk foodies
Anyone who rates this place under three stars doesn't know jack. People who review a place like this have to consider that it is a sports pub and not really a sit down restaurant or a place to get a fancy drink (even though you can). This is the place you go to to sit down with friends, grab a frosted glass pint and a bite to eat, and watch the game. If your only complaint is that your appetizers came out too early don't give it one star. Instead next time just ask for your appetizers to come out ten minutes before your food and all will be well, the place is very accommodating that way. The  only thing you could add to this place to make it better would be maybe one or two more craft beers on tap. In the end, good beer, great bar food, and very pleasant service for a sports pub that isn't too expensive. Also on a side note, the waffle fries here are bomber!
Review Source:Decided to meet some friends here for a football game. Decore was nice, service was very fast and friendly, but the food was a let down. On a Sunday during football season they ran out of wings (before the game even started and the place was hardly packed) so I ordered the flatbread pizza that came out looking like something a child threw together. No fresh mozzarella or basil like the menu described and it tasted awful. I sent it back and ordered fried clams. They came out over cooked and like rubber. The saving grace was the awesome martini the bartender made. It was perfect. I'll be back for drinks but I'll go elsewhere for food.
Review Source:Finnegan's Bar and Grill is a typical local Irish pub / sports bar. They always have the game on one of their many flat screens. The staff is very friendly and personal. They remember who you are and what you like to drink. It really feels like Cheers when you walk in there. There are always the regulars in their same seats. Everyone always feels welcome.
The food is outstanding. There is a very large variety of food. The wing menu has many different sauces to choose from. There is an outdoor dining area when weather permits.
During the evening hours, they have trivia night, drink specials, specials during sporting events, holiday parties. There is always something going on. Â During the summer there are usually beer pong tournaments.
No matter who you are, or what you want from a bar, there is something for you at Finnegan's Bar and Grill.
high class townie bar. if you wanna run into a bunch of local rednecks and a blower for an owner, come here. otherwise, save urself and go to southside, which has way better food, people and staff.
