First off, I ONLY gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 because I've only been there once and i feel like that's not enough to base a 5 star opinion on. Now on to Firebox. I don't get why they have some of the bad reviews that I'm seeing on here, and i suggest you ignore them.  I went here for lunch one day just on chance and encountered extremely friendly staff (including the owner(s)) and delicious food.  If you had a bad experience try it again maybe, and if you've never been i would say that its definitely worth a try.

Owners are great and you will not find better BBQ in the area. New bar area looks great too for grabbing a quick drink and bite to eat.

I've been here many times over the last few months - at least once a week  - and I have been very happy with the food each time - the buffalo wings are some of the best I have had - especially with the new hotter buffalo sauce they had last week.

I'm somewhat surprised by all the negative feedback recently - but I do notice they are people with only a handful of reviews for the most part so it is hard to quantify that

Yesterday I brought in a group of about 10 from my company and everyone was very happy with their meals - the brisket burrito is excellent (I think half of us ordered that) and again the sweet potatoes are amazing - I'd love to have those as an app with some sort of dipping sauce for example an Irish style Curry sauce - I may have to bring my own in.  For $9 it was extremely filling for a lunch.  These were all people who if they did not like it they would have made sure I knew it

Service wise I know they have added additional staff and replaced some of the issues - the service here is excellent and the owner is almost always here - so if you have an issue you should let him know before you leave and at least give them a chance to address it

They just added Peak Organic Nut Brown Ale on draft and I have to say it is really good - although I like the price of the Pabst Blue ribbon at $2 each.  Tough Choices LOL.  They really have a nice beer selection - Dogfish (60 on draft and 90 in the bottle I think-  too hoppy but I know people like that) , Double Bag (Strong like 7.2%) , Sam's Summer, Blue Moon etc..  as well as a nice selection of bottle beer

I think the need to put together a beer list so people can see exactly what they do have

I typically get a to go plate from here as well 3 meats with the add on ribs and they have always been full bones and not the small tips - so I think they have addressed that

I would like to see the burnt ends again though - I'd guess those are not an easy thing to produce
