We've driven by this place on our way to Lake LBJ many times. Â Always wanted to stop and see what the crowds were all about. Â Well after 7/4 we finally stopped and checked it. Â It's a typical TX BBQ joint. Â Clean and good but pretty mainsream. Â Other than the fact that its got some good atmosphere, nothing really special.
Review Source:Typical Texas barbeque joint. Park anywhere you can under the oaks, in the unpaved parking lot. The pulled pork baked potato filled me to the gills; my partner's sliced brisket sandwich was lean; and again, ate too much to have dessert. The Firehouse is another one of those "must eat at" places you'll find throughout the Hill Country.
