Fishtales Pigtales Cafe

Love this place. Fried or broiled seafood OR bbq.  Oysters are fresh and wonderful.  Chicken strips are worth the drive.  White fish superb.  Owner always comes around to make sure you're being taken care of.  Wait staff are great. Very attentive.
Have never had anything bad here.

Always a must to eat here every August when in town for the races!  Food is always good and price is fair.  The staff is nice and the manager/owner always seems to be there and usually makes it a point to come around to all the tables to speak to the guest which is a nice touch in my opinion! A place I know we will always go back to!

I had lunch here on a Saturday.  The crowd was small and they did not have their buffet, which would appear to be their main feature.

What is on the lunch menu is deep-fried seafood.   As Abe Lincoln once said, "People who like this sort of thing will find this the sort of thing they like."  Everything we had was well-prepared and tasty.  I wonder if other items on the menu might be more interesting.

I did not notice whether they have a defibrillator on the premises, but given the obscenely large portions of deep-fried food, it probably would be a good idea.

The service was excellent -- friendly and efficient.  The restaurant is enormous, so perhaps the buffet does draw large crowds.  It seems a better choice than Red Lobster.
