This place has absolutely horrible! We went there for my best friend's birthday last night and the owner acted like she didnt want us there. You definately wont have a good time here if you are under 40.
They lady actually took a maginfying glass to my id and examined it for at least two minutes! Horrible service! Dont go!

If I could give this place no stars I would! We bought a $10 for $20 coupon and decided to try this place out. It was not busy and waited 45 minutes for our food. we also ordered a pita bread appetizer (which never came) and we were notified AFTER our meal that they were out of pita bread... shouldn't that have been stated before our meal came?! When it was time to pay, the server said we didn't order enough to use the coupon (which we did) so we ordered another pizza just to cover it and please the server. She then came back later to say she forgot to add the 18% gratuity. 18% for two people?! It did not state any of these said specifics on the coupon and she just proceeded to say "well it should have". Ummmm ok? We still paid the bill of course, but definitely will NOT be coming back!! They need to take that coupon off and re do it if they want to keep business with their local patrons!!

We bought a $10 for $20 deal on Living Social based on the good reviews I read here. Well let me just say, this place was very disappointing. First, the menu is totally different than here on yelp. No sandwiches or paninis. Just burgers, pizza, and appetizers. Second, we told the waitress that we had the living social deal and she brought over the manger. The manager proceeded to tell us that we had to spend at least $30 to use the deal which was not stated on the voucher.  She also told us that there was 18% gratuity. We ordered the pepperoni pizza which was ok, the Avacado Bacon burger which was not good at all and buffalo wings which tasted like they were frozen. The service was slow but the waitress was nice. The pizza came before the wings. This place had a DJ, hookah and a full bar. It seems like a good place to drink and maybe dance a little but not for eating.  Overall I don't think I'll be coming back.

The food is good. They mostly have sandwhiches and burgers.  My fav is the italian and turkey& pesto panini. Garlic fries are okay, could use a lot more garlic.
The service is not the best, but since its family owned and operated I`ll sacrifice.
Its a place where everybody seems to know everybody.Afterall the location is somewhat hidden and pretty small. Its a packed house on game days and fights.

This place sucked. The bar tender was an amateur at best and they didn't even have a full bar. The beer is way over priced and the dj was playing shitty music. Do yourself a favr and go to the liquor store next door. They had nice people working there though. At least they're trying.

I don't know where to begin with this review! As you can see, I rated this place 5 stars for many reasons. I came here last night (Friday) by myself. It was some minutes before 10 pm and there were probably less than ten people there. As you go in, to the right is the bar. To the left are additional seats and tables. The bar area is rather small compared to other places I been. I was greeted by the owners of the lounge. Now that's a plus because I felt very welcomed and their customer service throughout the night was phenomenal. The bartender and the rest of the staff went above and beyond as far as serving their customers. Now this lounge is rather different. They are wine-based meaning no hard liquor is served. But they can get you your fix. Beers are served. Food as well; haven't tried it. As the night progressed, more people started to come. DJ was playing good music and the small dance floor was poppin. It started to get packed. The crowd and atmosphere was crackin that night. Restrooms are one stall per gender. Wished they stocked on toilet seat covers. Overall, I recommend this place.

My friend and I were looking for somewhere local to eat and drink so we stumbled across this place. It was kinda dead, but again, it was Thursday so that was ok. They have a little indoor bar and lounge on the side with a Dj. Also, a little patio on the outside with plenty of couches.
The food was really damn good. I had a burger with onion rings and mozzarella sticks and they did not disappoint. Great little hangout spot. Will Def be back again!

Great little local spot to grab a beer and some good food.

The inside is pretty small but they have a great patio section with couches!

Staff is friendly and helpful and the crowd is eclectic and varied.

If you live close by , you should check it out.  Walking distance from our home which makes a drinking night out safe and easy!

4.5 stars. ya heard it first.
ok so i went back and it looked like they got some new staff.

very helpful and nice and accommodating. my buddy was leaving to europe and we had a few drinks there. it was popping with a lot of hoodrats and ratchets, but the staff improved a lot. making jokes and kept checking on us despite the busy crowd of people coming in and out.

    now just get some hookah!

Are you a fan of shows like Diners Driveins and Dives and always on the lookout for great food in secret places? You are? (how did I hear you say that?) Well here is a great place to add to your list.

We came on a Saturday night and tried the burgers. These are gourmet burgers and delicious. We left as the band was setting up so I really can't review the entertainment or atmosphere once the party started but the food was fantastic. A very pleasant surprise.

We will be back. I'm glad we found this place.

If you like to sit back relax and have a ice cold beer and cigar this is a one of a kind place you must visit. Step inside and you will think your in West LA the design is very sleek and modern. Another cool feature is that Flavr Lounge is next to the rail road tracks and when you see a train go by and yell "Train" you get half price beers. The seating is plush and comfortable inside and outside on their patio, it is truly a relaxing environment. The food is also great and there prices are very reasonable. Using one word to describe Flavr Lounge is "Chill" the staff, the drinks, the ambiance if your want a one off cool spot then go give them a shot. Also feel good that you are supporting a local family owned small business instead of a huge corp, trust me the personal touch is what sets this place apart from other lounge's.

I just started coming here and I have to say, they must have changed things around for the better because the food was amazing! Yes, they no longer have hookah but who cares. Good food, cold beer, taco tuesdays and good music... what more could you want?  Try the 2am Burger.... 1/4lb hand made patty with a fried egg, tater tots, lettuce and tomato with garlic fries... sooooo damn good!

We drive by this place almost everyday.  It's in a different location but I am sure glad we finally stopped in.

My family met one of the owners at Costco.  She mentioned serving pizza and that was that... we stopped in, sat at the bar and looked at the menu, it features 5 house pizzas at $8.99 each, they serve ONE size only (12" about 8 slices) bit of a negative we thought as we are a family of 7; still we ordered a margherita pizza, pepperoni/sausage, mild hot wings, (the order comes with 6) and while we waited for our food had some garlic fries and two beers.
Garlic fries were very tasty, buttery and thick.  Pizza were great!  Just the right thickness.   Mild wings meaty and tasty.
We usually spend $32 bucks on a large and small two topping each to feed the family.  Now we will go there and buy 3 12" pizza to feed our family and with more than two toppings.  Thanks Eddie and Linda we will be back!

Don't judge the place by it's cover you could be missing out on good food right under your nose.

So after yelping this place I saw that it was highly rated, however by the end of the night the only thing I probably would go there for would be the food NOT the drinks. This place is smack dab in Covina and the location next to a liquor store is by far odd, its like they were trying to be trendy but just ends up being a bit ghetto with the liquor store being next to it. We walk in and werent at all greeted, we sat down and finally after five to ten minutes someone came over and gave us a menu. We asked the waitress what drinks were good and she offered up their "Pink Disco" my friend and I got that however when we got it (fifteen minutes later) it was horrible....to me it tasted like a VERY flat Nuvo and to my friend it tasted like watered down juice. It had too much ice and for vodka to have that much ice (or any drink for that matter) truly is ridiculous. I ordered the pastrami burger sliders with sweet potato fries, it came out half an hour later, whats worse is that they were not even that hot meaning that they were sitting there for a while before they finally took it out to me. It was good dont get me wrong on the food but honestly for all it was cracked up to be on Yelp it was not what I thought it would be. To top off my experience they charged my order wrong...they confused my friends card with mine....yeah VERY unprofessional, they were lucky I was with someone I knew because I would have made a bigger deal about it if they charged someone elses tab to mine. All in all this place is a fake....they try to be a trendy spot but honestly once you get past their paint job and comfy seats its nothing more than a wanna be trend spot. Save yourself some time and go to a REAL bar because their drinks are horrible the service is unprofessional oh and did i mention I saw NO hooka at this so called hooka bar? Yeah never again....

Ever get tired of the crowded, trendy, chain sports bars?

If you're looking for a place that's low-key but lively enough to socialize and have a few drinks?

    Flavr Lounge is the place.

A small, hidden place. Mostly known to nearby locals.

Their happy hour is great. I had $2 draft beer.

Plenty of appetizers. I had hummus & pita, and garlic fries.

The owner was very nice. Came up to your table and introduced herself. Servers are great too.

    Highly recommended!

They have obtained their outdoor permits and now have a cool cushion-seat setup outside on the patio.  Friday night special: braised lamb shanks.  Lent observers need not apply.  'nuf said.

What a great little spot!  I happen to be there for a take out order and was looking through their menu and they range from Mediterranean, American, Mexican and Italian!  My family and I ordered a little bit of everything.  The sweet potato fries where great, the pizza was delicious, the hummus was ok, and the bruschetta with tomato and basil was outstanding!  The atmosphere inside seemed very hip and cool.  They serve beer and wine and close around 2AM.

The owner (her son is co-owner, if I remember correctly) happen to start talking to us about having menudo on Saturday and Sunday mornings so I have to come back one morning and try it!  She must of knew I was a menudo kind-a-guy!  She was extremely nice and was telling us about their food.

They had a flyer out saying that they will have Hookah soon and I can't wait!  I don't think there is a place to have Hookah in Covina (at this time) except for in Glendora.  However, I would love to keep my tax dollars spent in the local area.

For Covina, this restaurant it pretty cool!  Compared to other eateries surrounding it, it's a great choice.

Just went there to eat and the food was delicious. The service was very good as well. It has sort of a speakeasy feel so it's not your typical restaurant. They are a little out of the way and not on the street, so you may miss it if you blink. In addition, it's small so it may be a good date restaurant.
