Florentine's Grill

I came here for college night awhile back with a couple of friends.  The atmosphere is pretty cool.  On nights you don't want to dance you can just kick back and lounge...This place seems to have more guys then girls and the guys spend their time eyeing out girls....which seems to be what most of the guys do there (can't blame them, mostly newly college horn dogs). The bouncers are pretty strict when it comes to douche bags.  I've seen them kick people out for acting like dummies when they can't handle their alcohol.  What I like is that they don't discriminate.  If your acting up or throwing up all over the place, regardless your a girl or boy, hot or not, race, etc., they will kick you out.  

I also come here to watch sports games on days when it's empty.  Maybe its just me and my friends but I like it when it's empty.  You got the whole bar to yourself and they got a special before 9PM where the beers are only $5.  I've only tried the nachos and fries, which isn't great but after a couple of beers, it taste lovely :).  

The service is good.  The bartender/waiters were nice and catered to us..

Overall good place.  Come here if you don't like big crowds and just watch to chill with your friends and watch a sports game (Their pretty quiet around 6PM-10PM).

This review is geared more towards the late night bar hopping scene during the weekends since that is the only time i've actually gone to Florentine's. When I heard that Florentines was asian dominated, I came over here in a heartbeat. People are right, its like a little china town up in here. Lots of beautiful asian ladies. The line is pretty crazy too, but I haven't had a problem with getting in. They play good music and drinks are not too bad. I asked the bartender if he could make my red bull with vodka double vodka and instead he just handed me an extra shot of vodka. Pretty sick!

I have never gone to Downtown Fullerton for a night out but then again, I went to college elsewhere and I don't drink until it's summertime. Then, I'm like a darn fish. I came here for my birthday upon recommendations from friends. I had the salmon salad (dressing on the side). The salmon was good, but this isn't a place I would come to for food. The happy hour beers were a great price ($3 for draft and bottles).

We came on a Sunday night so it was dead. We may have been the only patrons.

I left a birthday card (with a gift card) here and called them - they actually saved it and had it ready for me when I got there so thumbs up!
