great little sandwich shop, friendly service. what else do you really need.
i'm not sold on the hype of the other reviews, i wouldn't say this place is extraordinary . certainly not worthy of 5 stars. but a solid 3 / A-OK

I am a local and have been in Florida cold cuts a million times. The owner knows my order before I even say what I want- they are fantastic. My out of town guests have always been treated with smiles and laughs. The food is amazing- homemade turkey, roast beef, pork, tuna, chicken salad and baked ham. The choices are endless! You will not be disappointed when you get lunch meats or subs to go. Florida cold cuts is a family friendly place and has been in business for over 30 years- you get top quality food and service. When out of towners come to the island don't waste your time going to other places- just come to Florida cold  cuts for the best!

Nasty Nasty Nasty...these folks are insensitive, spoiled, rude, inflexible, and just don't give a damn about their customers. I've been a customer since 2005 and know the rules and there are many. No plastic, no hot sandwiches on weekends, stand in the right side line when ordering and the left line when paying AND don't even think of making that mistake and getting  it wrong. No we won't toast your roll!  The abuse got to me in 2008 and I just waved a white flag and left. I returned in 2012 because they have better rolls then the rest of the "Philly" wanna-be's in town and they serve sharp provolone cheese. Thats how slim the pick-ins are in this town. I arrive to pick up my 4 sandwiches and was sternly reminded that no plastic is the rule. I was short 45 cents on a $29. order and was told " no cash...no food and there's an ATM machine on the corner".  A short drive to the machine copped me $20. for which I paid $2.75. Ok, upset because I would have handled that differently and I knew better, I went back today and picked up my food next to an elderly sweetheart of a lady in the wrong line who asked if they put pickles on her sandwich. The curt answer from the owner was "you should have asked and I will SELL you some if you want them". Oh yea...don't even try to call an order in as they take the phone off the hook when it gets busy. You can't make this stuff up. Let me have a turkey sub with sharp provolone and hold the rudeness.

I grew up spending summers around the corner from Florida Cold Cuts, so this may be a biased review.  Hey, some kids eat peanut butter and jelly, some prefer a good ol' ham and cheese... Florida's corned beef special is the sandwich of my childhood.

Now that I'm all grown up, I can see why all other CBS' always fall short of my expectations.  Florida uses Formica Brothers rolls, they have a nice veggie-to-dressing ratio in their coleslaw, and their corned beef is lean and just salty enough.  The sandwich is piled with the right amount of each component to ensure that each bite is perfection.

I don't usually deviate, but my husband was recently impressed by their tuna salad, and I'm pretty sure my brother religiously orders a turkey and American cheese with lettuce.  Really, you can't go wrong, no matter what you fancy.

Whether you are in need of lunch or quick access to a beer or a bottle of Jack, Florida Cold Cuts is the place for you.  Just be sure to bring cash, because despite over 40 years of business gone by, they still don't accept credit cards.

The name might not suggest it, but this is definitely a Jersey shore staple for me.

Is there are new king in town?  Why yes, there certainly is.  White House is the King of AC, Dino's is the king of margate, and the king of ventnor has been crowned!  Florida cold cuts has some of the best sandwiches on the shore, and without the ridiculous lines!

Here are some tips for having a great experience.  First, order early.  If you're hanging out of the beach on a saturday morning, just place your order at 11 am instead of noon, and you'll be all good.  no lines, no fuss.  Order the half subs.  Some people want a whole sub, but that is like 2 feet long, the half works for one person.

SO why is this place awesome?
    1.  efficient - can get in and get out
    2. Quality of foods - Fresh foods, great meats and cheeses.  They also have some of the best tuna I've ever had.
    3. friendly people - Every time I come in they have a smile on their face and are happy to serve you

I'm totally into this place, and think it is amazing.  Just dont tell too many people about it because i dont want their line to be busy all the time!

The couple that run Florida Cold Cuts are great - kind and friendly. But more importantly, they provide great food.  In the deli, the sharp provolone is unbelievable.  Their sandwiches are always delicious, especially their Roast Beef Specials.  I live in Ventnor year round, so my husband and I have patronlized Florida Cold Cuts too many times to count.  Therefore, I am perplexed by the first reviewer's experience.  Pernaps he hit them on a rare bad day.  Regardless, I would recommend everyone to stop in at Florida Cold Cuts for some great sandwiches.
