Flying Dog Saloon

A few friends of mine mentioned hitting this place and me and the lady were looking for somewhere new to check out.  We went out to the "Dog" around 8 on Sunday night.  We walked it and the place was very quiet, we sat at the bar and the bartender noticed my lady was cold, so he offered to turn off one of the AC's.  Not many places would do that.  We started off with a Blue Moon and a menu for both.  When we looked at the starters we already new what we wanted, 1 of everything.  The 1st thing that caught my eye was a pound of steamed shrimp.  We ordered shrimp, lump crab pearls and wings.  The wings were okay, nothing special but not bad at all.  The crab pearls were awesome!!!  It was real lump crab meat, no filler at all.  The shrimp came out and they were awesome as well.  It was probably more then a pound too.  The were seasoned with old bay and man were they good.  As the night went on, more and more people were at the bar.  We left around 1130, 1/2 hour before they closed and the bar was nearly full.  All in all, this place is great.  We can't wait to go back for dinner.  The dinner menu was impressive as well but we settled for starters.  If you ever out that way makle sure you stop.  Brian the bartender was very attentative as well.
