If you're looking for a little hole in the wall with good food and even better prices, Little Oley is the place.
Seating was a little haphazard, since there isn't a hostess. Â Only seemed to be two waitresses running around, but they were fantastic and on point with every table.
Roast beef sandwich is life changing. Â Only $5.50 ($6 with cheese) with chips, and worth every penny. Â Daily specials are ridiculously cheap (shrimp, clams, hamburgers, sandwiches), and I would assume the drink specials are just as plentiful and penny pinching.
Little Oley Tavern has a very welcoming feel to it, which makes sense, considering it was at one time an inn/hotel. Â The staff is friendly, the drinks are VERY reasonably priced, and the food is solid. Â Order the roast beef sandwich. Â Seriously. Â Don't ask questions. Â Just order it. Â You can thank me later.
When I visited, the deck was open and was lively, but not so packed that you couldn't move. Â Even with the large crowd, the staff provided fast and friendly service. Â The indoor bar was less crowded (but things likely pick up in the cooler months), but was still open. Â I'm looking forward to my next visit. Â If you're in the area and looking for a good pub, this should be your go-to spot.
