I dont know of many places that are open late and this place is close to where I live. I had a chocolate martini which was delicious but at $14, not really worth it. I come from the NYC area and only really expensive places charge $14 for a drink so I was shocked.
I liked the place and the atmosphere, will definitely go back. I am not a beer drinker so I will have to find another cheaper option.
Where to begin.....
I love food... I love Flynns......
This place is as good as it gets. Â If you disagree your dumb..
Lets start with the beer. 42 on tap no crap either, you could come in everyday of the year and drink a new beer every time. plenty of Beer Advocate Exceptional beers, plenty of advise from the knowledgeable staff. Just for Petes sake don't order a Miller Lite (but they have that too)
The atmosphere is great, although a lot of people on here complain about it.. Small, yes, crowded, yes, dark, yes, loud, yes, pub, yes !!!!!
There is a line on most nights.. People don't wait in line because of poor food, warm beer or crappy service. The wait in line because its WORTH it.. Â The wait staff is always working the crowd to make sure that if you have to wait you at least have a cold beer to tide you over.. Â
Once you do sit down open that menu up close your eyes and point to an item, order it and if your not happy I'll buy it for you, after I call you a liar and whoop your arse.....
So i'm a burger guy, infact I think I am THE BURGER GUY of FLYNNS (should be my new royal title) See attached pictures or just ask John..
Burgers here are INCREDABLE !! cooked to you liking on a pretzel bun... there must be 20 different special burgers from a deep fried patty to BBQ Pulled pork or Buffalo Fingers on top.. Â Or you can just customize your own... Â
As for sides, all home made, all fresh.. Onion Rings are killer, Wicked pickles are Wicked Awesome....
Then there are the apps.. Irish Skins...Jack and Blue Cheese sticks, Wicked pickles, Chicken fingers.. You MUST try the Wicklow Gaaalic fingers...
Entrees are HUGE. Â Wait til you watch the first fish sandwich leave the kitchen and everybody points at it like some sort of sex object..
Shepards Pie is out of this world and the hot dogs (add chili and cheese) ore great..
Yes its crowded get over it, relax, enjoy the live music on the weekends, have a great time at THE BEST IRISH PUB on Cape Cod, even the South Shore and beyond.....
Small crowded  and very loud place .they do a brisk business, minimal wait for a Friday eve.
My wife  had steak tips with  sweet potato fries average at best, I had this crazy burger that had steak tips and fries on it with Russian dressing  it was great!                                                    Service was excellent , food was served quickly. Stick with the burgers and of course the beer!
A brief follow up review. Took the boys tonight for their first trip. They both had burgers an commented on how moist and flavorful they were.
I stuck with wings but noticed garlic buffalo. Anyone can dowse fried wings in Frank's but this was different. It had an amazing fresh garlic flavor with bits of fresh herbs. They took wings to a new level. Wonderful live music in a small venue that respects the food and beer. Bravo!
Flynns is a great place to grab a pint or two, which a solid selection of good beers. Â Make sure that you try their hamburgers, they are outstanding! Â Best on Cape! Â The only negatives are lack of space and room temperature. Â Twice I have been there and the place is way too warm, so warm that it was uncomfortable and we left to have beers at the BBC.
Review Source:Stopped here for a quick taste of Irish hospitality on my way home from the cape. A fun Irish pub, that seems to be a local hang out, and no kidding there were 3 gentlemen at the end of the bar arguing over Yeats, and Homer. Too funny! I eaves dropped on their conversation a bit. It was truly entertaining. This place is a brew lovers haven. Lots to choose from and samples given to help your choice. Mixed brews with fun names, like Dark Side of the Moon, Chocolate Covered Raspberry, MURPHY'S BEER FLOAT A scoop of Cape Sand Ice Cream & Murphy's Stout. Give it a try. You'll love it!
Review Source:Good place, I enjoyed. The chipotle citrus wings were delicious and my husband's steak tips were cooked well and very smooth. Great beer selection and very good service. Very fast, but still friendly and accommodating. One criticism, the fried pickles were spicy to the point of losing flavor. Â Would definitely go back next time I'm in sandwich. Fun atmosphere.
Review Source:Cozy irish pub at the base of the Sagamore bridge. What this pub lacks in it's seating capacity it more than makes up for in high quality food. There was a large beer selection, that does not include Guiness but great IPA and flavored stout options.
We scored the only booth in the establishment and enjoyed large hand made burgers served in hot prentzel rolls, a turkeyclub with mashed and gravy. Black and tan onion rings and complimentary soup of the day that you can help yourself to alongside the bar.
I understand there is irish session type entertainment on the weekends. I like coming at off times to get a seat.
The burgers are incredible. The toppings available are completely amazing never know which to try next. And the sheppards pie is completely amazing. And last but not least get the wicked pickles they are good with everything. Fried pickles with a nice spicy flavor never fail to amaze me. Oh yah they have alot of beer to choose from....alot. And the bartender is amazing. If ya get Katie she will def take care of ya.
Review Source:The owner continues to adapt as the popularity grows. Â Excellent food, great beers, 5 star service and really just a wonderful place. Â Sure it can get crowded but that's because it's a fun, relaxing place to go have a drink with friends. Â
It's well worth a stop on your way off Cape, just take the last exit at the foot of the bridge and it's up on your left about 150 yards. Â When done you can spin around and get right back on the bridge.
There aren't a ton of places where you feel like the owner is constantly changing to adapt to his clients. Â This owner is different. Â Just a really well run place.
My wife and I went here Saturday night with some friends. Thinking we would have a long wait since it was St. Paddy's day, it was not. We got right in had a seat and were served a couple of drinks. The Irish musician that was performing was great! We ordered off the small but concise menu.
My wife and I split the Reuben, which was out of this wold. Our friends had Flynn's version of an Egg Roll, which was fantastic. The only down side to Flynn's is the service of the waitress. Maybe she was a little overwhelmed, but nevertheless, was not good.
Thanks for a fun night with great food!
Still amazing after 1 year of being in business! More recommendations - marinated steak tips are absolutely perfect, whatever they are seasoning their fries with, KEEP. And try their new set of fusion beers, some really good ones (banana split which is Wells Banana Bread Beer and Youngs Double Chocolate Stout mixed together, another is a Ho-Mosa which is Hoegaarden mixed with OJ). And great news, not only are they now at 32 taps but starting next week they are adding 10 more lines for a total of 42 beers on tap (and 42 bottled to match)!!!!
Review Source:You gotta go to Flynn's! Best burgers around.....the pretzel roll makes them great! Always great beer on tap, helpful bar tenders in case tour not sure what kraft beer is all about. Tell them your taste and they will poor you the right pint! Join the beer club and get updates on specials and what's happening at Flynn's. Â The owner and staff are very attentive and won't let you have an empty glass for long. Great Irish pub atmosphere, small a little crowded, but you will be welcomed by everyone there, clientele is free of riff raff! Go local, go to Flynn's
Review Source:I went here recently as I am Irish and love a good Irish pub. My husband and I ordered the Fried Pickles and they weren't good. They are crusted with something that's not your standard batter but it has some spice to it. The dipping sauce that comes with it is a "white chipotle" which is also spicy but this would've been MUCH better had it been a horseradish dipping sauce. For our  meals I ordered the Reuben sandwich (which was excellent) and my husband ordered a Buffalo Chicken burrito (it was Mexican night). He said his burrito had no flavor and had to ask for hot sauce b/c it seemed like they forgot to put it in there. I had sweet potato wedges on the side with my sandwich and those were fabulous. Next time we'll try the burgers b/c those looked really good. I've love to see more Irish foods on the menu and it would be great if the Reuben had real corned beef on it instead of the deli meat type but it was still very good. I'd go back.
Review Source:Had a burger from the many on the menu. Good handmade burger, cooked to perfection and served on a pretzel bun...got to love the rock salt! Â The beer selection is quite good, give it a try. Â The live music was more acoustic sounds of the seventies than Irish but good none the less. Go, try.
