We were looking for a place on Saturday to sit outside and enjoy a cold drink and something to eat.  We couldn't find anything along Powers Blvd. where we didn't have to wait and we finally stumbled onto Fox & Hound. No waiting (very bad sign)!  The enclosed "out side" eating area was filthy!  Although the waitress was very kind she wasn't sincere.  I ordered a frozen margarita and my friend ordered a mahito.  The 10 margarita (the only size they sell), PRICED AT $6.50 was nothing but FOAM!!! The mahito was a concoction that didn't resemble anything like the mahitos that we have ever had.

The food wasn't anything to brag about (although over priced for the portions).

In retrospect, I would have waited an hour to have avoided spending that money on that experience!

If you are looking for an English Pub on American soil, this would be the place to avoid.  Hell, if you are looking for a decent 'pub' at all, this would be the place to avoid.  Actually, just avoid.

Like the veneer that covers its tables, Fox and Hound is a shallow corporate shill, a formula/cookie cutter wanna be.  Over-priced drink, bad poorly-prepared food that you can get at Applebees or TGI Fridays, and vapid souless staff there to not care a whit about you, just take your money and expect more.

Loud, dirty and poorly arranged, it is the 'Best Buy' or 'McDonalds' of drinking establishments.  It trys to represent itself as a latter-day local 'Cheers', but is merely a weak pretender.

If it wasn't already clear, NOT RECOMMENDED.

My husband loves this place.  First off, it is a place the guys or gals can meet up and just plain chill.  There is a big screen t.v., which makes watching your favorite football team fun.  The food is pretty good and the pricing is okay.  It is definitely loud and not very kid friendly.  Just a little FYI on that one.

Food was pretty good. I like the sports bar atmosphere and shooting pool there. $2 pint nights are sweet and if you go late night during the week you can get a side pool room all to yourself. Worst thing about it is the service, the staff seems new every time I go there, they don't know what they're doing, and they aren't very accommodating. But overall I just go for beer and pool and its pretty chill.

Disappointed every time, so I stopped all together. With the growing choices in the area you have to be good to get my business, and Fox and Hound isn't. The service has been horrible and the food just slightly better. I don't even feel like wasting more time typing this review...

Decent place to hang out on $2 Pint Night. Food is a little pricey, but usually pretty tasty. Really wish they would lose the 20 something club music and become more like the British pubs they are styled after...could be a really nice atmosphere if they weren't busy being just another sports bar.

Fox & Hound is nostalgic for me. No matter where I visit in the US, it still feels like the one back home where I spent so much time with friends and making new friends.
The environment is noisy. Not kid friendly. The service is quick and on point. The food was delicious. There were a few issues. The Spin dip app was not heated thoroughly. The Fish & Chips was crisp on the outside but had some batter uncooked on the inside. The burger and fries were awesome. Beer was cold and cheap. $2 pints are my favorite.

If you are an American football fan this is a place to avoid! Visited this establishment to watch Thursday night NFL game. With a rerun of a 2002 hockey game trophy presentation on the TV I was informed by the manager that we could not watch the NFL pregame because it was not "live". Just another chain establishment that does not put the customer first, but is more concerned about frivolous chain restaurant guidelines. Went to BooDad's right down the street where they had the NFL network on every TV, and actually had IPA on draft unlike the Fox & Hound.

I'm going to give kudos for their LARGE selection of beers/ciders on tap. Staff is very friendly and attentive as well. Where this place disappoints is food. Oh, man the food blows. I've eaten here on two occasions and everything just looks and tastes like it came right out of a freezer bag and onto my plate. Flavorless, bland and resembles crap you get at the concession stand at the movies. Fox & Hound: Why u no serve good food?

Once again we had a great time at this great place! We usually visit on off hours to avoid the crowds!

Only issue there was a mildew/vomitish smell in the air as they are redoing tile work in the building, hurry up and get that done!

    Danger Will Robinson! Danger! Danger!!

Wow, the pits! This place is absolutely terrible.

We stopped in here last Monday afternoon for dinner. For starters we ordered the beer batter chicken finger. they were OK.

For an entree I ordered the Top Sirloin, which is described on the menu as "A 12 oz. USDA choice center cut sirloin, char-grilled to perfection and served with crispy fries and thin onion straws,"  Medium. I also mentioned to the waitress that I wanted it pink in the middle, not red (raw), as is my habit because definitions can vary. She says that I had best order it med well then. OK, as I made the mistake of  assuming she knew her own kitchen. Big mistake!

What I got was a hockey puck! A dried out piece of shoe leather that was completely inedible.

After about 10 or 15 minute I finally had to ask the other waitress to send ours over tpo our table. (Note: there were 2 of them working and only 3 occupied tables in the dining room at this point so I have no idea what she was doing all this time but clearly it was not checking on us).  She finally shows up and asks how we enjoyed everything?  I point out that my "medium" steak was in fact a hockey puck and was still sitting there. She asks if they can do anything to "make this right" but by that time we had to be on the road so I said no, just bring the check.

Apparently this young lady believed that I should pay for the privilege of staring at the inedible hockey puck for all that time because sure enough, it was still on the check! Had to ask for the manager to get it removed.

THIS PLACE IS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!

Where do I start. Sitting on the patio right now drinking warm iced tea...eating boneless wings that are bone dry along with pretzel dippers that will break a tooth.   Service was atrocious.

I went here about 7 years ago and most recently about 1 month ago. Seven years ago, I filled out the little "tell us how we did" thingy on the internet, the manager ended up giving me a gift card (which come to think of it, I never did use).

Anyway, on my recent visit. Sunday afternoon, not too crowded. Something about waiting for a table, (waiting for the hostess actually) and having the next patron come in to receive a "right this way" from the staff that I just don't like. It could be the 10 minutes waiting, seeing open but uncleaned tables, and the next customer in line being whisked away to an open table.

Food was so-so. Nothing special. Waitress was friendly and attentive though.

I'll go to Rock Bottom next time.

Fox and Hound is an ideal place for the sports fan looking for an above average nosh for the big game.  I've been here a couple of times for going away parties and most recently for a dinner with a friend.  The service is always prompt, if not alittle disjointed on my last visit.  The waitress has no problem with blurting out whatever she has to say regardless of whether you are having a conversation or not, but I guess this is the state of service in most mid-market joints these days.

Admittedly, I almost always stick to the bavarian pretzel sandwich, which is alittle more bready than a true bavarian pretzel, but goes well with the turkey, bacon, monterrey jack cheese and honey mustard dressing.  Frankly, I wish it was served with a dijon mustard that was more tart than sweet, but that may harken back to my days in Munich.  Then again I also wish for a large blong she-man to carry a gallon mug of heferweissen to my table, but that ain't gonna happen either.  I digress.

My husband ordered the wings, which are on a 2-4-1 deal on thursday nights (in other words, order 10 for $8.49 and they give you 10 more for free)...he chose the hot honey and the BBQ sauces.  In case you are keeping score, yep, it was another veggie free night for him.  my friend had the napa valley salad with included grilled chicken, dried craisins and some type of cheese on spinach.  The salad looked like a great lunch or light dinner option.

The food, service and on-tap beer selection push Fox-and-Hound to a 3.5+ stars...Good food and eager service, but notthing I'd ever be craving.

I need to start off by saying that this place has great drinks!! I came here the other  night for a bday party so I was fortunate to try a multitude of appetizers. The pizza was less than special. It was so uneven as far as sauce goes and it just seemed like it was frozen. I'm not sure I would ever order another one. The hot wings I have to say were pretty darn good. I tried both the hot and barbecue flavors and was impressed with both, even though I'm not a fan of barbecue sauce on my wings. The hot flavor had just enough spice to keep you drinking water with no discomfort or frying of the taste buds. The chips and salsa were pretty average. The salsa had great flavor and a decent amount of spice and the chips were a colorful blend of red and white corn. They had a great selection of beers both on Tap and in the bottle and a weird section on the menu devoted to "beer potions." these concoctions used different types of liquor and beer to create something I've never tasted, and I have to admit I was a fan. The multitude of cocktails and great beer selections will keep me coming back but the big price tag on their main dishes leave me wondering if the juice is worth the squeeze.

Good environment if you are looking to drink and eat. But if you don't want a loud active bar experience, this is not for you. I had a good time though.

The service is slow and unfortunately pretty consistent regardless of the time you visit.  The food is well prepared and enjoyable.  There is something about the acoustics of the place, regardless of where you are sitting (unless outside) it is loud.

Typical atmosphere of a sports bar with a lot of TV screens and sporting events--but a little loud at times. I couldn't hear myself think or for that matter talk to the person next to me. Their menu items seemed to be pretty standard among these types of establishments. Food ordering was quick once it started, but took a little time to get the food--especially if you're in a large group. We found this to be a regular occurrence whenever we had group gatherings at this location.  I found some of their food to be a little on the salty side and often already cold when it arrived at the table. On several occasions--it took our waitress a little time to refill our soft drinks. I can't really speak for their service at the bar.  I'm not the type to drive out of way to eat at establishments serve average food unless it's really good/unique.

Home of Nebraska fans. All day Wednesdays: buy one, get one wings which means 20 wings for $5.99. Very yummy, love their hot honey not so big a fan of their hot BBQ. But their ranch hand burger is super delicious! Cheese, bacon, fried onion straws with a drizzling of ranch dressing = heaven (and you'll probably get there faster after eating this fatty goodness!)

Ambiance: Upgraded sports bar. Lots of plasmas. Mix of booths and large pub tables. Decent sized bar, pool tables. Clean and inviting place.

Service: Young servers, but very well-trained and personable. Very attentive.

Food: Yes this is a chain place, but I was impressed with the menu selections and the quality of food. Better than places that just offer you a lot of heavily-breaded fried options. I settled on the spinach salad for lunch. Wonderful ingredients, including chicken, bacon, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and lots of feta cheese. Drizzled with a tasting pinot noir-based dressing. Served in a very large bowl. One of the better salads I have had in this town. Also, ordered a cup of their very delicious beer-cheese soup. Others in my party ordered the french dip and their BBQ ribs, and everyone enjoyed their entrees.

Overall, I was expecting just an "ok" experience, at another typical chain. This is one chain I will be coming back to.

Cool place to kick back enjoy some good fatty foods a couple of drinks and watch some football. With TVs mounted all over the restaurant you won't miss a play. I little bit nicer than your typical sports bars.

    Chicken sandwich = Darn good
    Wings = Great
    Margarita = Strong but good

Part of 1st & Main shopping center this a great place to watch the game while the ladies shop. Their large bar area has plenty of TVs. Above average selection of beers thou a bit pricey. Good food for a chain. Pot Roast sliders are very good.  A good spot to hit before or after SkySox game.
