Fox & Hound Smokehouse & Tavern

Great place for a beer and a game of pool. Too loud sometimes. Priority given to football meatheads. Too often I've had to go ASK for a beer. Remember that Thunder Canyon is right next door--much quieter and a local brew pub.

I am sure back in the day it was a nice cool place.  It is not too bad just very very dated.  Most of the TVs seem old.  Service is not bad.  Food is ok.

I'm updating with 2 added stars for the mere fact that they know how to service large....and I mean LARGE crowds of people.  I went early to grab a seat for the Sweet 16 UofA game, followed by IU and the place was PACKED!!! Literally.  Standing room only!  Even the patio furniture had been brought in from outside by patrons using them at pool tables.

Regardless of the amount of drunk people and not being able to walk through crowds to serve people, the servers remained calm and friendly and for the most part were able to serve us when we requested.

So good job Fox and Hound.  I brought up up a few!
