This business has been closed down and has been re-opened as hookaholics. Check it out, here's the low-down: This is the best hookah lounge in tucson, hands down. The location used to be the old hurricane hookah lounge. The new owner bought it, and renovated everything. New floors, new paint, new lights, new dj system, and new employees. The security keeps things safe, the music bumps, and you can request whatever you'd like (although they usually play dance, hip-hop, and house music). It's 18 and up and you can dance. There's even a sick little dance room that has neon paint on the walls and glows under the black lighting. In short, it's a great place to lounge, smoke hookah, hang out with friends, dance, and even take a date. : )
Review Source:I feel bad for leaving a one star rating; the waitress tried her absolute best to accommodate our group and so it wasn't her fault. This place is a dump... you can compare it to someone's garage. The owner is rude. He had "80's night" theme and refused to change the music, even though everyone was complaining. I felt like I was in a Styx music video. There's no alcohol. The hookah had to be replaced three times because it was either 1.) too harsh to smoke; 2.) tasted awful or 3.) didn't fit the right way and smoke couldn't come out.
Maybe I've been spoiled by Scottsdale hookah, but I would never come back here.
Went here with a couple of friends after dancing. It was 2am. The place is open until 4a and when it was nearing closing time they didn't seem to be in any hurry to rush us out. Music was great just a tad too loud but no reason to take away a start.
I had a living social deal so I got $20 bucks worth of stuff for $10. Also got free VIP shesha. My friends paid $10 each. Not bad for all you can smoke. You can also try as many flavors as you want for no additional charge. They have some sodas and snacks there that are also relatively cheap.
The shesha itself was really good. We got the VIP blend and liked it so much we didn't request another flavor. If we had more time I would have sampled more flavors. I probably will next time I'm there. I'm definately going back. The atmosphere is great and the shesha is wonderfully smooth and flavorful.
They also have a sweet xbox360 setup there. It wasn't on when we went because Fri and Sat nights they play live music. Though if there is a night they play, I hope to join in!
If you like hookah bars, this one is one of the best I've been to thusfar. Definately give it a shot. It 's a new location but it definately has potential to be one of the better, if not best hookah bars in Tucson.
