So, I have been here twice and had a good experience both times. Â
This has all the typical pub fare, but they are also accommodating to special requests. Â (Chicken sandwich no bun please.. would you like lettuce instead? Â why yes).
They have all their own brews plus many others. Â I am pretty boring and almost always stick to the Amber. Â But the cider they have on the menu is pretty awesome as well. Â
They were pretty slammed the last time I was there but service was still really good. Â Again, another good addition to the downtown scene. Â
Parking can be a pain, but I parked in the garage that is currently under construction. Â It is a short walk and not that bad.
Came to Thunder Canyon Brewery on June 29th to celebrate a friends birthday. I had called ahead earlier in the day to let them know we were coming as they do not accept reservations on the weekend. They did take down my name and put me as a "Call In". There were 8 of us in the party for dinner and drinks. When I got there at 6PM they had no record of me calling. Instant frustration. They apologized and quickly got to work on setting up tables for us. I was instantly impressed with the way they handled the situation. We waited at the bar while they were setting up. The bartender was really nice and quick to get us our beers. We tried a Strawberry beer and it was amazing. Once our table was ready our server, she was very nice. I don't remember her name, but she had red-hair and the number 88 tattooed behind her ear. She was amazing. Super nice and super quick to get us everything we needed. She was more than happy to also split our checks between the couples. We will definitely be back for other celebrations. The food was really good. I had the fish and chips, a full order, and I had to take it home, it was a lot. My boyfriend had the Mac and Cheese with chicken...AMAZING! Can't wait to go back.
