Gaff's Third Base

Gaff's almost gets an A for effort. Almost...

I have only gone in the past because a few of my friends worked there (cooking, DJ, doorguy, ecc) and we girls would all hang out and have a good time and dance, ecc. Whatever, you can do that almost anywhere. Admittedly they did have some good music (except for when they lost my friend as the DJ I hear they then started country music nights? oy vey!) and one dollar shots - incentive to go.

They have a nice deck off the back of the place, and another bar (though in my experience don't get your mixed drinks from the outside bar, just get your shots or beers here) and you can pretty much get wasted for not that much money - which is nice, except for poor bastards like me who were commuting for a night out from the city, in which case... Don't get wasted, cause the Taunton cops surround the place at closing. Most of the doorguys are on a power trip, so don't get loud with them, cause they will kick you out, ecc. Also, townies GALORE.

In the past lots of vandalism of cars has happened on Friday and Saturday nights at this bar, so--- make sure you are actually parked on their property so that the bar's insurance covers any mishap.
