The Gallery Bar

Not a bad choice at all for a cold ~ Real Local ~ Microbrew on the way home from work.   It's been remodeled and was comfortable with great service.  Arrived on a Friday night (tonight) about 5:30 and within an hour or so it filled up.   Not sure where I heard about it recently but they have New Republic Dunkel Weizen on draft.  New Republic is the College Station authentic local microbrewery.  Beer was served at a proper temperature and was simply delicious.   It appears as if the entire lobby area of this Hilton has been recently updated.  What a nice find.

What is this? Both beers by local wunderkids New Republic, on tap? Yes...OMFG, yes. Had a couple pints of these last night served by the very friendly bartender. Not saying I have a new favorite watering hole, but I just may be ducking into this cozy little bar now and again!
