Country & Western bar (as if you couldn't tell by the name) with decent drinks and live music. Â Not really my scene so much, but we have some family folk that play in a band there, so we had to go check it out. Â There were lots of cowboy hats and boots, american flags and harley-wear floating around here, and the clientele ran the gamut from fresh drinkers to grizzled drinkers--yet everyone seemed to be having a good time dancing, drinking and what-not (the 'what-not' would be the guy doing a sort of striptease by the door). Â I felt rather out of my element in a cowl-neck sweater, but that's just me. Â At least my jeans fit in.
I can't comment on how this place would compare to other C&W places, but if you're into this type of scene, you should check it out. Â I hear they even have a mechanical bull once a month or so. Â Anyway, a fun time, but probably one I'll only repeat when the aforementioned band (North Country) is playing again.
