Giddy Up Saloon

Country & Western bar (as if you couldn't tell by the name) with decent drinks and live music.  Not really my scene so much, but we have some family folk that play in a band there, so we had to go check it out.  There were lots of cowboy hats and boots, american flags and harley-wear floating around here, and the clientele ran the gamut from fresh drinkers to grizzled drinkers--yet everyone seemed to be having a good time dancing, drinking and what-not (the 'what-not' would be the guy doing a sort of striptease by the door).  I felt rather out of my element in a cowl-neck sweater, but that's just me.  At least my jeans fit in.

I can't comment on how this place would compare to other C&W places, but if you're into this type of scene, you should check it out.  I hear they even have a mechanical bull once a month or so.  Anyway, a fun time, but probably one I'll only repeat when the aforementioned band (North Country) is playing again.
