Dangerously bad food but strangely polite service. My wife and I went here for sushi.
The salmon roe eggs were hard and chewy, like they sat out for a few days, the spicy tuna rolls had something crunchy in them which even the wait staff was puzzled about, ??? and the avacado was old and disgusting, the seaweed salad and the raw salmon were both on the dry side....needless to say, sushi MUST be extremely fresh which this was not. Unusual to have so many bad things served.
The waitress agreed that these items were unacceptable and took them away and off the bill.
Sushi is an extremely risky food unless extreme caution is used in prep. This place is way too risky.
Never had this problem in the past, maybe a new owner or new sushi person.
Highly recommend that you don't eat there.
Unbelievable sushi. We went for the Wednesday buffet, and the rolls were of a wide variety, superior quality and huge size. You are only allowed to order three rolls at once and you must pay for any food you don't finish, but the tastiness of the sushi let's you power through any remaining pieces.
The only reason I give Ginza four stars is because out server was pretty lax. I had to flag her down a few times because we were in a corner and the restaurant was almost empty (we were there at 3:30) but I think if you come during typical dinner hours the service would probably be more attentive.
