If you are an out of town sports fan, this is the place to go in the Towson area. I have been here for a number of sports games and they try to show every game that is on.  Lots of people come in wearing the jersey of the team that they support from all over the country.
Food won't blow you away, but is is good sports restaurant food.

I go here every now and again if there is a special sporting event going on that I want to watch.  Its conveniently located about a mile or so from my home. I like their beer selection and the menu has some of the typical sports bar related food.  They made a major improvement when they went away from the drop down screen for the TV at the bar and put in several large screen TV's.  I usually eat at the bar and the bar tenders are always very attentive and quick to serve. I enjoy having the personal speaker box so I can hear the game. The only downside is the pricing is a bit steep compared to the other sports bars I usually visit.  Its a good family place with good service so I would recommend it.

I really want to like this place because I like the name and I am a Bruce Springsteen fan, but when I went there for the first time in a few years, the service was horrible and the food was ok.

To be fair I ordered the fish tacos which probably wasn't the best choice to order at a sports bar. It was mostly cole slaw with small pieces of fish somewhere in the tortilla. My girlfriend ordered wings which were typical wings you can get at any bar. All in all the food was average at best.

One thing that was downright bad was the service. I can tolerate mediocre food, but it really bothers me when the people working ignore the customers. My girlfriend ordered wings and had to ask for napkins. Maybe that's just the server being forgetful, but he simply told us to use the bar napkins that you usually use as coasters. I would have used those anyway. Not once did he come over and ask if he could get us anything. That's ok if you're busy, but there was probably only 3 other people in his area and he was standing around a lot. The other server told my roommate the wings were on special and when he got the check she charged full price. When he said something, she acted as if he was a lower class penny-pincher and visibly shook her head as she walked away. I didn't like her.

Anyway I'm amazed at the other 5 star reviews I see saying they had great service. I winder who their servers were and wish we could have gotten them. Maybe it was the luck of the draw and we just got bad servers, but I will not be taking that chance again.

I went to this place with a BIG (12) group of family/friends. The service was friendly. The hostess held the door for us when we entered and when we left. Waitress was nice and prompt, kept the drinks coming w/o being asked. I had the glory wings they were delish, fries piping hot (I burned the roof of my mouth), tv's to watch the game, & a bunch of drink specials. Manager made the rounds to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We had a great time. The price was right. No complaints over here. I'd definitely go back!

Ps- my sister had gluten free meal. She made a big deal out of having it on the menu.

I have eaten at Glory Days at least 7 times and have finally decided to write a review.

The food is ok - it is standard bar fare. The beer list is decent - and if you want a good place to watch sports (and don't really care about what you eat or what the service is like) - then this place is good. There are a ton of TV's everywhere throughout the whole restaurant to watch games.

However, the food is just ok - in fact, after having been back about 2 weeks ago, I realized the time between visits began to stretch out longer and longer for a reason. We can get much better bar/tavern fare elsewhere - and much better service as well.

My other primary issue with Glory Days is the service. The last time we were there, I felt like an afterthought to our waiter. We waited at least 5-7 minutes to even be acknowledged, our drink order was wrong; our food came out and 30 minutes later, we had to chase down our waiter to get boxes and the check. He went and hid in the kitchen and practically ignored all his tables. (And no, the restaurant was NOT at all busy - so there was no reason for being ignored.. I've been a waitress - so I know what being slammed is like - and you can still stop by a table, say hi, take drink orders and let them know that while you are slammed, you'll still acknowledge their existence. So there is really no excuse when a restaurant isn't busy for slow/bad service other than laziness and not caring.) Unfortunately this wasn't the only time our service was less than good at Glory Days.

I think this was the first time in years that I've left less than 18% tip.

Bad service leaves a bad taste in your mouth - even if the food wasn't bad - it ruins the dining experience.

I doubt we will go back. Baltimore/Towson has a ton of restaurants and bars - I would suggest finding another one to watch the game and grab a burger.

Glory Days..... Haha it should be called Glory Dazed. My wife and I ate there Saturday night around 7pm. The food was standard bar fare, we both enjoyed our meal. The problem was our service. It was SLOW. We waited a very long time after our meal was finished for the waiter to come back. I saw him disappear in an entry way never to return. When he finally made it back to our table we asked for the check right away. We were afraid to order dessert, since it took so long just to get the check.  I could understand if the place was crowded, that could affect the service. But it wasn't . I also want to say that the food came out in good time. We felt that after we got our food, the service stopped

This is your typical chain restaurant. However what makes this a cool place is the amount if tv's that hey have! If you live sports this is the place for you! Good atmosphere, typical bar food, bring your game face, because his place will e packed with Raven fans, Steelers and Browns fans. Trash talking WILL. Be in the menu!

This is the classic sports-themed chain. It reminded me of a Chili's or Applebee's with the decor, and the food was easily comparable. My family ordered some of the Sante Fe egg rolls as an appetizer, and they were fine. Did they taste good? Yes. Have I had similar ones from a frozen box at home? Yes.
After we ordered our entrees, the manager came over to talk with my mom about her shrimp platter order. She ordered the fried shrimp, and the manager told her that they had 'no more shrimp' but could make the rest grilled. This was a red flag. If you can grill shrimp, you can easily bread them and fry them, just like the others. They didn't run out of shrimp, rather run out of the pre-made fried shrimp.
Anyways, my burger came and it looked fine. The fries tasted great (when don't they?) and the burger itself was tasty. However, the pulled pork that was on top of it was the complete opposite. It reminded me of the packaged pulled pork you can buy in tub at the grocery store; it was gross. My distaste for it grew even more when I noticed the orange grease dripping from it. Nonetheless, I ate most of the burger, my fries, and a few onion rings that my mom had ordered. It was alright, but I've definitely experienced better.

P.S. - I later found out that the 'Pigskin Burger' I ordered had a whopping 2000 calories...good thing I played 2 sets of tennis that day -_-

It's a great place for sports fans.

It has decent food, standard drinks, ok service and a lot of TVs with personal speakers on each table.

    Nothing horrible, nothing special.

The wife and I have lived in the area for some time, and having driven past this place numerous times, but never went in. We recently decided to finally try it out, we were delightfully surprised. If you've been in most national chains, and more than likely you have, you'll feel right at home. As a sports-themed grill and bar, we found the atmosphere to be very appealing, with enough happening on the many TV's around the room to please just about any sports fan.

Our first visit, and everyone since then, we've been fortunate to have some of the nicest staff in a restaurant we've come across in a long time. In fact, the best jewel of service we've found there is a wonderful young lady by the name of Paige. Very courteous, very friendly, and extremely accommodating. On the rare occasion that our food was not up to par (under cooked burger for my preference), she had it sent back, and a new one was brought to replace it, fresh and hot. She even went as far as have the manager comp the item from our check for our inconvenience. Request her when you go in!

The food is above the average norm of most chain restaurants, with a good selection of home comfort foods, burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers. (The nachos are excellent!) I've make it a point of trying new items when we go in, and each one has been acceptable and flavorful.

The atmosphere is nice, and usually quite to be in, unless its after quitting time on a Friday evening. That's when the bar starts to pick up a bit, but not overly obnoxious. However, on NFL game days, the place quickly fills up with sports fans for all different teams as they show every game from the NFL Sunday package from DirectTV. So, naturally, it will get noisy and a bit rowdy if you don't enjoy days like those.

We have yet to come across an experience to match the service and food found at Glory Days. Time after time, its been exceptional! Until then, we'll continue to frequent our new favorite spot! Enjoy!

Only been here once and I'm sure it'll be a while before I consider this place again.

Ordered chicken fried chicken and was not too happy.  The mashed potatos were ice cold and I found two produce stickers or some piece of paper in my gravy.  Pointed it out to the bartender and he apologized and said they'd take it off the bill but they didn't.

Prices on drinks were a bit high for a college town location and there is better deals next door.

My six year old son loves this place...why you ask?  The Shark Attack drink...you get a plastic shark filled with grenadine and a glass of soda water...it's up to you to pour the "blood" into the water.  It's so much fun I get one two...now we have a very dangerous bath tub filled with plastic sharks.  Is this a regular go to place...no but when I ask my son where he wants to eat - it's in his top three..and all because of this drink.  Oh, and don't forget the worms and mud...gummy words and pudding.  For the adults...well the food is average cisco truck fare but beer is cold and the service has always been fast and friendly.  We sit outside to escape...well the hole sports bar thing.  Cold beer, chicken wings and a very happy son with a plastic shark...why not once and a while.

They have a gluten free menu, the burgers and sweet potato fries were great, the blueberry lemonade wasn't oversweet, and the fact that it was a sports bar was ignoreable because the food was good.

    Meh!

Sports bar vibe like Champps . Solid bar fare- burgers, chicken tenders, salads, desserts, etc. the only menu items that set this place apart are the Rippers- Black Angus all beef hot dogs with various themes and toppings. IMHO, a hot dog is a hot dog is a hot dog, unless it's been grilled outside on charcoal. And, even then, there's only so much that you can do to make it interesting.  This would be a cool place to watch the big game...if you like that sort of thing.

I wish I could write more, but there just isn't much to write about. Unless you want a list of synonyms for "boring".

Hands down, my favorite place to go to!  I've been going there for about 8-9 years now and it has never let me down.  Great atmosphere for watching football.  Be advised, this location is a relatively neutral bar.  Sure it's heavy on Ravens fan, but because they have DirecTV, they have the NFL package.  If you're a fan of another team, like myself, don't be afraid to go in sporting your jersey because odds are there's another fan there and you won't feel out of place.  For Browns fan, there's a HUGE get together on the patio on game days.  The staff is friendly and I have never had a bad experience with the food or service.

As for things to eat, they recently started doing a seasonal menu which offers different featured items.  Right now, I'm loving the Country Fried Chicken with a side of garlic mashed potatoes.  They're ribs aren't large, but what they lack in size makes up for it in flavor.  Definitely check it out!

Have not been here for a while but went recently to help a friend celebrate her recent graduation from college. They had 50 cents wings that evening so we sampled some with their own special sauce. They were ok. Nothing special.
We also ordered the crab dip. Unfortunately the dip had a terrible fishy smell to it and taste. We notified the server and he apologized and took it off our tab.
We ordered usual bar type food ....hamburgers, cheese steak and they were adequate. Nothing fancy. The fries were hot. We had several $2.99 frozen drinks and $3.99 tall beers for Happy Hour. They have $5 burgers on Monday and specials throughout the week. I like the new menu and the special idea. Makes eating out a little more economical. It was not crowded while we were there and our server was attentive, bringing us drinks and taking our orders. We topped off our meal by splitting a lava chocolate cake. Nothing great about that either even though the description of it on the menu sounded much better. All in all it was a fun evening with friends talking. The menu is adequate and the food was too. It's a nice place to hang out but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Very nice sports bar'esque (yes I made it up) place that I like because this particular location is tucked away in a business center and across an intersection from an Applebees, Qdoba, & Bob Evans so the crowds always gravitate towards that area and away from this one. Translation: usually you can just walk right in and get a table. The fact that this place isn't stupendously packed is also great because, as stated, it shares an area (and parking lot) with a small business community so parking would be otherwise be a battle.

Food is delish if my tummy does say so itself (and it does). The crab dip is acknowledgeable (yep, made that up too) and this says a lot from someone who eats crabs year round. I'm a fan of the cornbread and shrimp zingers and usually wind up getting both of these for appetizers with the intent of saving some for the next day to take to work and brag to my coworkers about my lunch =)

The only thing that keeps me from rating this place as a whoa nelly five is the setup. They have a ton of TVs in the front, bar area but if you are seated by the door opposite the bar then you have to nearly break your neck to catch a score. Kind of a tease if you ask me. Put your TVs down some so I don't have to see the top of a TV to want to look at it dammit!

Great food!  Just it's very obvious that their main ingredient is BUTTER!  So, if you're not a health nut (like me) and you're ready to have some great food, this place is the place to go!

Only thing is, it doesn't seem like their food is 100% authentic, almost like it was pre-prepared...But nonetheless, it was good, delicious, fun.

I must say I really like it here! I've been to Glory Days twice already in a short span of time. The menu is huge! I have a hard time making up my mind what I'm going to eat.  Though I will say both times were different dining experiences.

First time I got the grilled prime rib. Never had it grilled before, surprisingly good. Nice large portion, great mashed potatoes. We also found out every Monday is $5.00 burger night. A real steal for the huge burgers both in size and vast selection. Specialty burgers are $1.50 extra, but a great deal none the less.

Second time I got the buffalo wing sliders. Sad to say not impressed. They forgot the blue cheese dressing, they tasted bland. Fries were standard, but seasoned well.

Service is always great, barely ever have to ask for a refill and they were super friendly and patient with us.

I recommend the OREO Sliders for desert, they are big and very tasty. One is enough so if you have two other friends its perfect because they come in 3's. They were nice enough to split the desert 3 ways on the bills as well.

I will be going back to discover more strong and weak dishes they have to offer. Like I said, big menu, so it might take a few visits. There is something for everyone though and that's a huge plus right off the bat.

Decent chain restaurant in the same league as Applebees but if you're not there to watch a sports game I recommend another place because it's a lot of TVs all over the place with every game on and it can get loud.

Good food though. Had a good grilled chicken salad which was huge and the Oreo ice cream sandwiches are amazing.

Good steak, OK crabcakes, good chilli (well I would hope so), good waitstaff...too many friggin TVs-typical sportsbar, tho, so that's not a legit complaint. Overpriced soft drinks (on par with other chain restaurants, tho)

Pretty run of the mill sports bar. The crab cake sliders were decent, and the chili mac was pretty good. Nothing too special with this place, to be honest.

Glory Days is a good chill spot to go to and catch any sports game you may want to watch.  The service is good enough, the drinks are standard, and the food is comforting!  The best is the cornbread!  Delish!  This is a good happy hour spot.

I went out for a bite to eat tonight with the Hubby and we headed over to the
    Glory Days Grill
in Towson- we have been their a million times. THey just redid their menu and
    added a
bunch of new items. I just had to tell about what I had... The Vermonter. It was
    sooo yummy!
It was Artisan-baked raisin bread brushed with apple butter and topped with
    honey-cured
ham, fresh apple and melted sharp cheddar cheese and is served with sweet potato
    fries.
This sandwich was GREAT! i was a little nervous about it but my first bite I was
    hooked! It is
    so unique and delicious!!!
