Spent a lovely time here before the Venice concert on 6/15/13. Â Our group started out with two people and ended up with seven. Â Between the seven of us, we had two red wine flights, a white wine flight, two cider flights (amazing) and various glasses of cider and wine. Â We also had a cheese plate and salami plate. Â Everything was top notch. Â
Our server (or was she a sommelier?) was great. Â I think her name is Liz. Â She was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Â Will definitely be back when in the Village.
We have been in this Wine Boutique & Gift Store a few times before. Well we decided to sit at the wine bar & really give The Grapevine our full attention today. What a great surprise. Pete was cooking up special appetizers on the new Panini press & kept bringing us one dish after another to sample. The staff was so Friendly & Knowledgeable we were impressed. For $15 we tasted 5+ great Red Wines & ordered a cheese/salami plate & a Bottle of Badge Pino. Scott & Jodi welcomed us & he had just a great afternoon. We'll be back soon & attend a wine club function.
Do we need to say more ?? Highly Recommended & very above average !!
Everything about this place is awesome plus 1! Â
One cold and snowy night in the mountains, they were hosting a complimentary wine tasting event for anyone and everyone. Â Now this review is NOT based on the free samples. Â This is based on the $35 bottle of wine that I bought plus the service during all the craziness going on inside the venue. Â The service could not be more consistant. Â You had large crowds slowly fighting their way to the bar while others are slowly fighting their way out. Â You've got bottle after bottle after bottle being corked while service remained organized. Â It was a blast. Â At the same time, we still received a brief education on the wines being poured. Â This called for a bottle purchase!
This place is a MUST for wine enthusiasts visiting Lake Arrowhead. Â If it's not too cold, sit out on the patio. Â Great views of the lake.
