Original Cottage the Family Restaurant

Whether this is your first time in the mountains, or you've been here awhile, this is hands down the best food you can get up here. The portions are extremely generous,  the staff is always amazing and you will get a real sense of the community here. This is where the locals eat. The prices are justified as you will leave with leftovers that will feed you later. It may not be the most beautiful place, but the food and the people are what keep everyone coming back.

The Cottage is the best! They werent open past 6pm on the 4th of July (like a reviewer on here said) but still made sure that they were open during the day to satisfy our hunger!

Christina, our waitress, was hands down the best server we have EVER had. EVER!!!!

She keeps us coming back for more!

Well, this really sucks! I have gone to this restaurant so many times in the last 25 years that I can't even count how many.  I just called to place an order, it's 6 p.m. on a Thursday and I was just told that they are closed. Wow, they are usually open until 9 pm. What gives? Well, looks like I'm gonna have Mexican food at Papagayos.
