We were looking for a place to get out of the heat before a 66ers game and decided to try the Inn since they advertise at the stadium. Â The prime rib sandwich is a steal at under $5. Â Made like a grilled cheese with a good tender piece of prime rib. Â The horseradish sauce will clear your sinuses. Â We split a sandwich and onion rings, added a soda and bloody mary for $20 with tip. Â A little out of the way, but worth the trip. Â The crowd on a Sunday is definitely older and not as noisy as the other reviewers noted.
Review Source:Started writing this review back in June (just realized it was unfinished) so I guess I will finish it now! Came here on the REGULAR before I got knocked up! LOL
The hubby and I were hanging out at home on a Sunday afternoon back in April... It was a lazy kinda day and we'd just moved to the San Bernardino (NORTH) area and had driven past Trevor's many times. We decided to get ourselves a couple of afternoon drinks. We got there around 2PM and before we knew it, it was 1AM! I seriously fell in love with this bar that day... Hubby and I were huge bar flies (when you're young with no kids, that's what you do!) and we'd found our home!
Within hours we'd made friends with the bar staff and locals/regulars. We'd found our spot! We felt invited and comfortable from the moment we walked in. Sometimes, with small bars like this, where everyone knows everyone it can be intimidating not knowing if you'll feel out of place. Not here! Not the case at all. Everyone was really friendly.
Sunday's are awesome and there is always some type of drink special. I'm a beer drinker myself, so it was always pretty cheap. Wednesday is steak night, we ALWAYS made an appearance and of course Friday nights, karaoke. I loved that everyone knew our names and made us feel so invited. Even Trevor the owner became familiar with us, that's how regular we became. ALWAYS had a great time and ALWAYS played it responsible, because I'll tell you right now, the cops do scope this place out often, because the Wooden Nickel is also right next door... The good news is, the bar has the number of several cab services... My particular favorite was "Taxi Dave" he is kinda the regular driver of patrons at the bar & I loved that! Better to play it smart & SAFE!
Obviously I'm out of commission, as I'm about to be a Mom and my bar hopping days are pretty much over, but as soon as I can get a date night out with the hubbs, this is where we will go! To say hello to all of our friends and get in on an awesome drink special! :)
