Guyton's Ribz And More

Excellent smoke flavor, tenderness and sauce on the side make Guyton's a must try for the 'Que lover. Also there is plenty of nice countryside to relax and enjoy the delicious ribs

A guy I work with is a neighbor/friend of the owner of this BBQ place, Donald Guyton.  My co-worker brings up some of his BBQ on a semi-regular basis, and it is some of the best BBQ I have ever had.  If you get a chance to stop by and eat some you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding BBQ- worth going out of your way for.  Tank Guyton only cooks on random weekends and serves out of a converted travel trailer without any tables- but his ribs, brisket, sausage, and chicken are all sublime.  Tender, juicy and well cooked.  His sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste, and I would skip the sides- they are probably store bought.

If you want ribs- get there early because he is usually sold out of them by lunch.  He is on the west side of the highway on 36 just south of Kenney- about 6 miles north of the Bellville city limits.
