H Street Bar and Eatery

Met some friends here for drinks while showing a native Korean around Grant's Pass on her first visit to the U.S.  We ordered some micro brews.  We were chatting when unexpectedly the bartender (who I was told later was an owner) started shouting about a woman who had won $500 on video poker and *gasp* not tipped.  As if it wasn't highly unprofessional to scream about a tip in front of patrons, he went so far as to yell "if I had had some date-rape drug that girl would have been a**-raped!".  This was the point where we paid our tabs (with him still having a fit) scooped up our frightened Korean friend, and headed to another bar.  I will never go back in there, I didn't tip well at all, and I'm afraid of getting roofied.

Relaxed atmosphere, "chill" crowd. Food and brews reasonably priced.   Food and music is Scott (part owner) and Mike, both accomplished guitar players and Kathy (other owner) on keyboards/vocals playing blues on Friday nights.

Mike is an excellent host!
