Joe's has been the regular bar for myself and several of my friends for over a year and I have to say they have yet to let me down. I always leave having had a good experience and when choosing where to go we always seem to agree on Joe's.
My only gripes would be that one of the pool tables has a wonky corner pocket and every now and then you'll get some bum playing lots of lame music on the jukebox. Though I would have never noticed the flaw in the pool table if my friends hadn't pointed it out and the other is just the risk you run with having a jukebox.
In light of those small things this has been a solid establishment to me and my friends for some time. The service is always warm and quick. The food is always satisfying. Good beers on tap. People always seem to be having a good time here. If you leave happy ten out of ten times then you know its a good place.
I've been to Joe's two times in the past 2 weeks. Â The atmosphere is great, there are plenty of TV's to watch sports events and there are also 2 pool tables if one was to get bored. Â
On the other hand, the service is marginal at best. Â The same older lady working behind the bar served me both times. Â Her attitude bordered on poor and she never smiled once. Â On both occasions the staff would stand behind the bar and talk about other staff members who showed up late, didn't roll their silverware, called in sick, etc etc. Â I felt as if I was interrupting their conversation if I asked for something.
The food was good, not fantastic, but good. Â They need to lighten up some of their menu items, it seems like most of their menu items are fried or really high in carbs.
Overall, if your looking for a good atmosphere to watch the game then this is a decent place to go, just don't sit at the bar!
