A really good "in-between" restaurant in French Lick. That is, it isn't nearly as "fancy" (a.k.a. overpriced) as the steakhouses in either resort, but it is a small step above burgers and pizza.
Both my husband and I got steaks and they were really good. We had the corn chowder as an appetizer and it was excellent. My husband's meal came with a dessert, which was a nice extra.
Nice views of the golf course. Helpful and considerate wait staff.
Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in French Lick. Â Sandwiches ~ $7-10. Â I usually stick with that, but I have had friends get the salads/ entree's and they always want to come back here when they visit.
Great view of the Donald Ross Golf Course also. Â This place is really good for lunch or dinner. Â Also, big TV's.
This restaurant is located in the club house at The Donald Ross Course in French Lick, formerly "The Hill" course. The food is great (particularly the salmon) and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the slightly more upscale atmosphere. Dress is casual, but you wouldn't feel out of place wearing a blazer. There is a full bar and there are big flat screen TVs on the wall generally tuned to ESPN.
