A beautiful resort in the Catskills!

Was recently here for a wedding and the Event Planner was less than helpful - said that she plans events but does not help with weddings (if you're hosting a wedding in your venue, that is your event.)

Highly recommend for weekend trips, golf, the restaurant, and other events/retreats, not for weddings.

the rehearsal dinner we had here was nice.  food was tasty and the service was friendly and attentive.  so, the restaurant experience was a good one.  honestly, if i was just grading the meal/restaurant i would give a 4/5 review...

however, the hotel portion of this "resort" is a joke.  my guests rented approximately 12 suites, plus my fiance and i rented the "hanah house" with some friends for the weekend.  the hanah house was a complete dump - there were water issues (air in the pipes? not really sure but it was miserable trying to use a sink, flush a toilet, or take a shower), the place was DIRTY...actually dirty, like no one had been in to clean in months.  

i've heard multiple horror stories from several of our guests about nightmares they encountered with their suites.  everything from missing and/or incorrect reservations to the front desk assigning rooms that were already occupied by other people (yep, awkward) to blood being found in a room (not even joking).  so, bottom line is do not stay here.  if i could just rate the hotel section of this place it'd be 0/5...a terrible, awful and embarrassing place.
