Hangar 24 Craft Brewery

Great beer, great service, reasonable prices, just an overall fun place to be. My favorite beers are their Columbus IPA and Amarillo Pale Ale. Line can get kind of long but moves quickly! Definitely a brewery to visit!!

As I have gone to Hangar 24 Craft Brewery many times I have finally decided to write a review and let anyone interested in going know a little bit about Hangar 24 and how amazing my experiences have been! Hangar 24 is located in the northeast side of Redlands, CA across the street from a private airport and the original "hangar 24". The first time I went to Hangar 24 my friends had insisted that I go with them to try it, so I hesitantly agreed to check it out. When we arrived at the Hangar 24 I realized that they serve their beer out of the brewery where the beer was made. Most people may think that going to a brewery to hang out with friends and drink beer may be a little out of place, but it I can guarantee that it will be an experience of a lifetime!
The service you get when you go to Hangar 24 is some of the best and most interactive service you will find anywhere. The employees are very polite and helpful if you have any questions about the brewery or the beer. Hangar 24 also offers tours of the brewery, but only when the filling and packaging process is not in operation. I recommend that anyone who visits Hangar 24 should go on the tour because it will show you how they make their beer, process and package it. In addition to taking the tour and an amazing staff they recently opened a new tasting room across town that offers a great beer tasting experience.
Hangar 24 is known for their famous "Orange Wheat" beer, but they offer over 41 year around, seasonal, local, anniversary, pro-am, barrel, special, and retired beers. I recommend that before you buy a beer you try the Hangar 24 "Tasting Flight" which is a sample of all of their year around beers for $7. In my opinion Hangar 24 has one of the coolest ways to buy beer straight from the brewery if you have some extra cash lying around; it's called "the growler". When you first buy the growler it will cost you $35 to by the container and the first fill, you can also buy one liter growlers which are $15.
Another fun activity that Hangar 24 has is a live band every week on Wednesday along with a food truck that prepares food at Hangar 24. Hangar 24 also has big events from time to time like Airfest. Airfest happens once a year in the spring time when Hangar 24 celebrates their beer, releases spring beer and has a live airshow all day with the airport across the street. The Airfest is for anyone that wants to go have a good time with beer, BBQ, and planes. As it starts to get dark the airshow continues into the night when planes shoot fireworks off as they fly by the crowd.  In the Fall Hangar 24 holds another big event "October Fest". During this weekend long event Hangar 24 releases new seasonal beers and have live music and food all weekend. During October Fest everything is themed like Germany including the shirts, mugs, and other merchandise sold.
If you are 21 or older and like to drink good beer and have the time of your life while doing so, you need to go to Hangar 24. Hangar 24's employees and beer tenders are another of many reasons to go and stop by and say hello. With all of the amazing activities like airplanes, beer, and amazing people what's not to love about Hangar 24! I give Hangar 24 five out of five stars, it is amazing!
