Paxton's Cellar

Came here for a friend's birthday party.  What a great idea.  The location is great.  Its kind of tucked away inside of a building.  The Wine bar had plenty of seats.  But most importantly, Phillip and his family made the evening really special.  He is a very knowledgeable guy and is very open in sharing his info.  He picks out the wine he serves and takes special care to avoid the mainstream ones.  He focuses on smaller wineries but still fines the best ones.  Pretty sure you wouldn't know the ones he serves, but they all taste pretty good.  When talking to Phillip, you can sense the passion he has for his craft.  He has been in the food/wine industry forever and has great insights to share.
All in all, a really enjoyable evening.  I would definitely return. Very cool idea once again for a private party.

A hidden gem in downtown Redlands!  Love this place!  It's like the "Cheers" of wine bars.  Love, love, love Mr. Paxton and his family.  Atmosphere is casual/romantic.  Wine is delish.  Phillip really knows his stuff.  He always has a great variety and the list changes weekly.

Just went to Paxton's last night.  never heard about it until a friend of mine took me there.  the whole place is awesome.  an awesome place to hangout with friends have a few drinks and not worried about people starting pointless fights like the rest of downtown redlands.  
Phil was also great, knew his wine very well and made great suggestions which i greatly appreciated since i know absolutely nothing about wine.
