The owners and staff are among the sweetest people on the planet. Â The Acoustic and Jazz Series are incredible and Saturday nights the house rocks with great bands too. Â However, it would be less painful to have a root canal without Novocain then to listen to the caterwauling that goes on on Wednesday Open Mic Night. Â The food is not good and that's a bit puzzling considering the area is surrounded by organic farms and their menu is not that complicated. Â but you don't go for the food. Â You go for the drinks, the music and meeting up with good people.
Review Source:I would say this cafe is only good for brunch. Once that's over, do yourselves a favor and GTFO. Either the chef here can't tell the difference between a smoke detector alarm, from his timer, or he's just really into blackening pretty much EVERYTHING. So If you're comfortable with excessive smoke inhalation, have a background in firefighting and you fancy uncomfortable benches and burnt food you'll love this place.
Review Source:Best breakfast I've ever had. If you're a fan of hollandaise, I highly suggest you order one of their Benedicts because the hollandaise is out of this world. Lunch, awesome too. Cajun Turkey Sandwich is an all time favorite. I highly suggest the appetizers or burgers as well. Other than that, the dinners are okay. Lots of fun entertainment. Friendly, family vibe.
