I met my sweetie here on a first date, so can't say too many bad things. Â This place is surprisingly quiet, people live and let live here. Â This isn't a place to go interact or meet new people. Â Sometimes they have live music, which was good the night I heard it. Â They have a good jukebox and I like going to watch sports here. Â They do have perhaps one of the best beer selections in town, both on draft and in bottles, but it ain't cheap either. Â Service is spotty at best, not at all personable, that detracts at least one star. Â It's a mellow place for the most part and close. Â Not a go to place, but a will do for now place.
Review Source:Not really a bar, but definitely a DIVE!
Beer & bikers, you get your beer and walk up to a counter to pay for it. Â
Visiting a biker pal who lives near by, his 6 year old bike only has 2500 miles on it as this is the only place he rides to.
No food, no personality and I got a tetanus shot when I left the place.
Been in plenty of dive biker bars in my days, but this is just a shit hole with no redeeming qualities.
Hill's and Dale's has had the best Bike Night in San Antonio for years, hands down the winner for number of varying type of motorcycles and Beers every Wednesday night. Â Peanuts and Jerky only, Kevin (owner) should hire someone to cook sausage wraps on the ample smoker outside. Â TVs with Spurs, Cowboys, and NASCAR. Â Outdoor speakers would be welcomed as well. There is room for improvement, but it is what it is. Â Completely unchanging. Â You can certainly talk to anyone and engage in conversation anytime with all the patrons there. Â No liquor. Â You will fit in better on a Harley! Â Notice the plaques on the ceiling, amazing spot with a LOT of history. Â I have never seen a fight here, but I'm sure if you are looking for trouble, you'll find it.
