This is one of those great little places to go for lunch. The menu has something for everyone, and the pricing is spot on.

The staff is always accommodating, and helpful.

Throw a stick and you'll hit a burger joint that has the same stuff as Home Team has. I think the appeal here is the "home team" actually. There seems to be a lot of support for local sports, which is all well and good, but if you're coming here for the food rather than the atmosphere you're in the wrong place. I had an Italian sub with fries. It was ok, fries were too salty though. My fiance had a burger and fries and it looked and tasted like every other Applebee's, Chili's, etc. burger and fries you can get anywhere. Do yourself a favor and skip it.

I have hit the happy hour a few times on Fridays, meeting up with some clients that hit this place pretty regularly. I came in one Friday after they were getting ready to leave and found myself alone, hungry and tired from a long day. So I ordered a burger but with spinach instead of lettuce (I do that...lettuce is so boring)
The burger came out quick and delicious...4 stars on the burger. This is more of a family style diner and for good reason...it is in the middle of Twin Hickory.
