  Oh here we go! haha..I'm giggling as I'm writing this review.  San diego was new to me way back 6 years ago and my ex- coworker were bragging about this place. On her last day at work we went out and hit this place we filled up half of the place and it was packed and then I thought this place was cool the music was banging and the drinks were pouring everywhere. I was having fun with dancing the electric slide, cha cha, tango,oldies, hiphop and some rock n roll with my 15 coworkers plus their spouses.Then, I came here again for several times and people were telling me that a lot of  cougars hang out here to get some young guys. haha! The waitress who were about to retire were wearing those knee high boots with mini skirt and midrib. LOL! Hey, it's their choice of fashion. haha! The crowd is more of late 30's and up.  The DJ is really good mixing the music and the drinks oh my they have the great long island ice tea!!! To hang out yes and if you are a young guy who likes older women this is your place to go!!! I'm just saying.....;-)

  I lived down in SD briefly in'08 , I Watched one of the Pacquaio Fights @ Honey Ko. Had a great time drank MGD all nite appetizers were on the house that nite. Friendly staff ,I wish we had a place like this in SiliconValley or Bay Area for that matter. Plan to visit  IB during the Xmas holiday season will stop by again.

  When I went I enjoyed free pool, cheap drinks, and a good juke box. Place is huge too so no issues finding seats and had a dance floor. And the Happy Hour goes until midnight.

  I went to Honey Ko last night. I had a blast. I dance the night away. Pretty mix crowd and the Dj was putting it down with the music. The dance floor is a nice size and theres no dress code. All in all, i will come here again

  this place use to be me and my husbands little get away we live with in walking distance so it was perfect. but now there seems to be prostitution going on and the people that go there looked like they rolled out bed and slapped some makeup on seriously i went and saw a chick in payamas .. but too each its own. that place went to s*it

  My mother, whenever she's in town, never fails to extend an invitation for drinks at Honey Ko and I always wondered what attracts this insane woman to Honey Ko like moths to a flame.  As personal policy, I avoid bars my mother frequents but, sheer curiosity led me to the doors of Honey Ko.
  
  They had a couple of pool tables which is always a nice alternative to dancing.  The dance floor was decent, the music was decent and they poured stiff drinks.  On the other hand, the crowd was a bit too mature for my preference but, if you're looking for a mature Filipina then Honey Ko is the place to be.
  
  I eloquently explained to my mother, "the place sucked! I saw a couple of women dancing and they made me think of you. I just hope you don't dance like they do." My mother exclaimed in defense, "I only go there for drinks and I know I'm the prettiest one there."
  
  Ahh ha!! Truth reveals itself.  My mother really is insane and I say that in the most loving way.

  Came here with my coworkers. She said it was fun and there would be lots of people. We got there. Had to pay 5 bucks to get in. Had a few drinks. Danced the cupid shuffle and electric slide. Drank some more and left. Wasn't that bad. Its better to go with a big group of people.
