Galley At the Marina

By far the best fish & chips anywhere. Great location with attentive service staff.

I never thought a marina in Chula Vista would turn out to be one my favorite local food joints, but it has happend.

With the 1 tiny exception of their gross cole slaw, there is nothing from this menu that I haven't LOVED.   The fish 'n chips - amazing.   The quesadillas have filet mignon in them!  The soups are hearty and and flavorful!  The cocktails and mixed to perfection.

The service is usually pretty damn great too.

They have nightly specials (Mon-Thur) which are great deals, but the food is a great deal any night of the week.

I really like the Galley. I've been for breakfast, lunch and dinner and breakfast is the only one I don't recommend. Lunch, happy hours and dinner is what this place is about. Good service - I always sit out on the patio and do not have a large party. Todd food, good service and a great view.
