Hooters

Ahh, Hooters. Everyone goes there for the food, right?

Riiiight. *wink wink*

To be honest, I had reservations about trying the Hooters here in Bismarck -- in my mind "hooters" and "North Dakota" just didn't seem to have much in common. But I was pleasantly surprised that yes, Virginia, there ARE plenty of hooters to warrant this franchise. And not the fake "my ex-boyfriend/husband paid for them" variety so prominent in Scottsdale, either. These are the real deal -- genuine, home-grown jumblies with plenty of jiggle that just can't be duplicated no matter how good a plastic surgeon's talent.

While the menu is identical to other Hooters franchises, the prices are a little more expensive due to its location in the middle of the northern Plains. But despite the additional cost, you get far better ... um ... talent? ... than other Hooters I've been at (e.g. Towson MD). Plus, one whole wall has nothing but Green Bay Packers gear on it, and that scored extra points from this ex-cheesehead.

In the middle of a blizzard, with windchills low enough to freeze a witches' teat, this was a great respite to thaw out at -- thanks to all the hot waitresses, not hot wings.
