Food - N/A Didn't order food
Beverage - draft beer and shots. Typical draft beer; we ordered total of 14 shots of Vega's Bomb's. Every time we received our drinks it was inconsistent
Staff/Server - Horrible!! Please do not bring your drama or whatever problems you have to work. Sadly to say but I do not care if your boyfriend broke up with you - keep your personal stuff to yourself and be professional where you work, but this was not the case. We were celebrating my friends promotion; we informed our waitress "Priscilla" what we wanted to drink - she comes back few minutes later asking if we want to order any food; we declined because we already had dinner and opted to drink only. What's with the attitude???!!
Verbatim from our server "You paid your bill what's the problem?" - Well the problem was there was some charges we did not agree on. We asked to speak to the manager. (Please see management review)
Not to mention this place was really slow!! Granted it was Monday night but there were 8+ server and all of them were either standing or sitting - YES this includes our server ---- WHY don't you check on your table??
Management - He could of done a better job by finding a resolution - NO customer is not always right but we wanted to know what we are paying for. One of us asked for a full ring upcheck but instead he brings checks that were paid already and no itemized list (we had party of 5; and 7 later; split bills) He kept on saying that we order more drinks - which was incorrect. First we ordered 4 shots, second round we order 4 more shots, when two others came we ordered third round in total of 6 shots; Hence total of 14 shots. He went an double checked - he kept saying "14 shots" but by balancing the "check" per say it came out to be 16 shots.
He called the cops on us - no we were not rowdy, obnoxious or being immature .. most of us are in late 20's and mid 30's.
Very embarrassing - the police officer questioned what was wrong and we explained. THEN the manager brings an itemized list of what we have paid and what's left.
Summary - We were over charged but management has poor judgement and no resolution offered. We paid the over charged bill and left.
WE WILL NEVER visit this location EVER again - if you want better staff and food just drive down to TWIN PEAKS... much better then this place. I will make sure to informed my co-workers, friends and family to watch out for this place if they visit.
Don't get me wrong - Addison, Lewisville and Grapevine Hooter's service is MUCH MUCH better.
I do not like doing negative reviews but by reading reviews for this location - most are negative and frankly most are negative because of service and staff.
Maybe Hooters HQ should read these real reviews and make some changes at this location - i even read that this location is like a ghost town during Friday nights..
I would love to hear back from Store Manager of this location or even better .. Hooters HQ ..We need and want answers!!
Our family goes to Hooters quite a bit for wings. Â We've been at this location several times this past year... Â BUT the quality of food and service has gone downhill every time. Â There are better options around opening up, this site is no longer on our list. Â
Details - slow service, servers are not attractive, managers stand around instead of helping, poor drink selection - and now crowded parking! Â Most infuriating pet peeve - UFC (not a ppv) Â fight blasted high volume while Rangers were playing silent on single tv. Â We completed the Texas Hooters Passport in past - seen em all across Texas. Â Best in DFW is Grapevine - second best Lewisville. Â BUT Frisco will never be on that list.
My husband and I were there just a few days ago and we had a great time! Â We have come to this Hooter's several times and the service is hit or miss but this time it was awesome. Â Karla was our Hooter girl and she had the best personality ever! Â I ordered 2 dozen oysters and they were fresh and a great size. Â My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich and it came out just right. Â As I mentioned we have been here before and of course the wings are always great, but this time we ordered something different and we were both very satisfied. Â But the service was above and beyond. Â She had personality and never kept us waiting. Â The MOD also came by twice to make sure we were good. Â Great job Frisco Hooters!!
Review Source:Do not go! Â They screwed up order.. Â Order was placed online and they were given 1 hour to prepare it, when arrived they didn't have the order and didn't seem to care that it was placed online to avoid having to wait. Â So 25 minutes later it was completed and no apologies, no compensation for their mistake. Â And we had a printout showing that order was placed and received on their end.
Review Source:Worst service ever... only care about the regulars... I work in the area and will not return to this location ever!
Waitress brought me my menu and asked you know what you want yet?? I asked if i could have a minute to look over the menu and she walked away.. came back 15 minutes later and said ready yet?? I placed an order of wings (8) and it took 40 minutes to cook.... keep in mind it was not busy. less than 15 people in the restaurant. i needed a refill on my drink which i never received..
Okay, but worst of 10 hooter locations I've been to!
Slow and non-responsive service, on a night that wasnt even busy! Â The girls seemed pre-occupied with each other. Â I waited forever to order, receive my food, and then get any attention for drink refills, etc. Â The food was consistent with other locations, but I will not return to this location when visiting Frisco.
I've been coming to this location since 2001 or 2002. Since then I've seen a lot of managers and servers come and go. The food seems to be slipping. I usually order the big fish sandwich or one of their burgers or the wings (usually 3 mile or bentley hot). Lately I've noticed that if you order the wings with batter (not naked) the crust is so thick and doughy it makes the wings look freakishly big and awful tasting. I do go there with my family once in a while and my wife and kids seem to enjoy the food.
Review Source:Have been coming to Hooters forever. Â When I was younger the cute girls were enough to bring me back, but eventually the good looking girls did not make it worth suffering through the food. Â I would still come back in the spring to come try the crawfish. Â So the girlfriend and I came back the other day to get some of the crawfish, and noticed that there were quite a few new things on the menu. Â They had a few new sandwiches, but more importantly they had different flavors of wings. Â You used to only be able to get wings in varying degrees of heat. Â Now they have lemon pepper, spicy garlic, parmesan garlic and a few other choices. Â This has totally made Hooters worth going back to. Â They already had some of the best crawfish, but now I can find something on the menu year round.
Review Source:I know, I know... five stars for a chain restaurant?? Much less a Hooters?!! All I can say is that you have to go to this one to experience it.
Probably some of the best service I've had at a restaurant in a long time, we were seated promptly and at a prime table because the waitress knew we wanted to watch the TVs so she made sure we could all see the televisions playing the Rangers game. The whole place was immaculate and the guys I was with enjoyed the "talent" serving as waitresses.
She took our orders and brought out our drinks very quickly, food arrived fast and she didn't pester us but made sure to keep our waters filled and even brought out extra napkins and hand wipe packets. I ordered the medium heat and really liked the flavor, it tasted like buffalo chicken and wasn't too hot that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the rest of the workday, but I'm tempted to try hot next time just because it had such a good flavor!
We went for "Wingsday" which offers 10 boneless wings and fries for $5.99. You definitely can't beat that, and for a wednesday lunch this location is incredible. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!!
10 of 13 stops in Dallas today!
Foolish tour continues; do not be upset by my review of 12 different Hooters today!
Our tenth stop was to Hooters of Frisco. Â Yikes our phone GPS actual works!
We stopped but did not eat; we took pictures and continued on our way.
We like this restaurant it was bright and lunch hour was over so it was not as crowded as earlier today.
The girls were very friendly and gladly posed for pictures. I like our pictures!!
Back to the Batmobile, onward foolish boys!
Would I go back? Â Yes next time we need passport stamps!
I give this hooters 5 hoots. Here is why...The girls are cool and they NEVER hit on my husband (thanks BTW) So as a female I'm never intimidated going here. The wings are the same as at every other hooters...which is good. I'm a big fan of consistency and I like that I know what to expect when it comes to wings. There is a nice variety of food specials and there is always something going one but its never SO crowded that I cant hear my friends. I like this hooters and I come here most often for naked wings on WINGS-day. Good Job ladies!
Review Source:They have some really spicy and tasty wings.
And their onion rings are out of this world tasty. Myself and Hubby were literally fighting for every piece of onion ring.
Cool place to hang out, munch on food as you watch some sports.
Whats not to like about this combo - wings + beer + sports ?
This is the largest Hooters that I have ever been to, but it was also the worst service I have ever had at a Hooters (or a sports bar in general). The food here was really good when compared to other Hooters. I love the chicken at Hooters, and this place did not disappoint. The fried pickles were perfect and satisfied my craving. The thing that was not so great about this Hooters were the girls that worked there and the service. Every time I have ever been to Hooters in the past, the girls have always been friendly. Now I know that Hooters is not known for its service, but my waitress was just rude and took forever. This place was headed in the direction of being my first 1 star review on Yelp until things picked up later...and we were there for a while. The girl actually rolled her eyes in the most dramatic fashion when I decided to change my order from fries to fried pickles after she had already written it down. However, it was a very crowded time and the employees were busying running around trying to accommodate everyone. It did not help that it was the start of March Madness, but once things slowed down our waitress was actually pretty friendly. I don't think I would ever go to this Hooters again if it was crowded, but I would definitely go back for the food and the amazing number of TVs they have in order to watch several games at once. This is a great place to watch the game because they have TVs in every direction.
Review Source:I know reviews of chains are frowned upon but I still like Hooters and not just for the obvious reasons. The fried pickles are always good and the wings are decently sized. I can get slightly better tasting wings at the place that's 5 minutes from my house but they are so small that I question whether or not they're chicken. Â Pigeon maybe, but not chicken. Throw in beer and sports and it's a win-win situation.
Review Source:Dont be fooled by those chicks... i used to work there for a while, and there were some nice girls like Dana, and Shrie, but all the other girls were incredibly rude and stuck up. They are great servers though, they all do there job VERY well and they deserve the money they make because as much as people say that its probably the easiest job ever as far as serving goes its pretty difficult and not typical by any means. So i would probably go to the one in Plano.
