My first time at a Houlihans for some reason and it was great. My bf had 2 fishbowl sized drinks which he loved and I had the raspberry lemonade which was fantastic.  We tried an array of dishes and the food was great. The best part of the experience however was our waitress Shiela if I remember correctly.. the best service I've had in a long time. I can't wait to go back!

The shrooms appetizer was very good (but pricey) and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. Burger was greasy and not cooked to the requested doneness. French dip was awful. The meat was not roast beef but more like cold cuts. It had a very unappealing smooth texture. When I told this to the waitress (who was otherwise OK), she said, "Some places do it differently. Now you'll know for next time." Yes, next time we'll go somewhere other than Houlihan's.

Love Houlihans. This location in Eatontown has great service and great food. A bunch of us go from work and always have a good time. Good drink specials and appetizers.

For a chain restaurant, this place usually gets it right. Ahi Tuna Wontons are favorited as an app or on their signature salad. Somewhat recently, a small plates section has been added to the menu and boy it is worth scoping out. If you are not hungry enough for their large dinner portions or are feeling indecisive, you can have a mini fillet, scallops, egg rolls and so on. Sit at the bar for better service. Dim lighting and easy listening music create a relaxed environment.

I went here with my Aunt and younger cousin..I felt like I should have had my imaginary boyfriend with me. The lights were so dim and sexy .

It truly felt like a date night kind of spot but it was kind of sports bar-ish. It was weird. The food was delicious though.
For appitizers we had lettuce wraps. I didn't put any meat in mine because I'ma veggiehead but yeah it was delicious. They gave me a bottle of arizona which I thought was a little strange but whatever.

The plates are pretty big and the food was tasty. The manager was walking around checking on everyone. My waitress was nice. My aunt is a silly goose and she asked the manager if they were closing...because that would be the only reason to have the lights off the way they did. lol Too funny.

Anyways.. aside from the lights being low it was a cool place. Food wasn't too pricey and it was pretty good. If you're in the area stop in.

Great service.. Everyone greeted me and was quick to respond. The food was delicious and served promptly. The bartenders are friendly and seem to enjoy themselves while being very professional. The cherry wheat draft was nice. I'd have to say a solid 4.5. Not a 5 cause I couldn't find a trash recepticle for my toothpick & mint wrappers.. Hah!

I feel bad for Jacqueline B.  Poor service always leaves a mark.  I, luckily didn't go through an ordeal like hers.  I recommend sitting at the bar.

This is your run of the mill American style restaurant.  In terms of quality, I would say right in between Ruby Tuesdays and Cheesecake Factory.  They have a $5 happy hour special where they have a bunch of appetizers for....you guessed it....$5.  Beers are $2-3.

Price is about average.  They have sandwiches in the $10 range and entrees in the $15-20 range.  I ordered the wings (Thai style) which wasn't too bad, but I would say the wings were on the small side.  If you wait too long to eat this, it would turn from very crispy to very soggy.  It's like a poor man's Bon Chon (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/bon-chon-chicken-annandale">http://www.yelp.com/biz/…</a>)

For dinner I had the Chicken Asian Chop Chop salad (Asian theme'd dinner).  It was ok, but the salad was a little soggy.

All around average.  I wouldn't mind coming back.

Sometimes you have a dining experience so god awful that you can't WAIT to tell everyone about it so that the place that made you so frustrated, so mad, and so SICK won't receive any more business.

This is one of those times.

I asked for a water with lemon. I got a dirty look. I received a warm water. I asked for lemon. I got a horrible attitude. I waited. I waited. I waited. I never did receive that lemon.

Our waitress took our potato skins and dumped them violently into our tray of EXTREMELY soggy buffalo wings. "LET'S CONDENSE!", she yelled like a crazy person, as food fell all over our table. Why? I don't know, because she sure as hell didn't have our entrees.

At the end of the meal, my boyfriend's sister ordered a tea.

Her tea came with 14 wedges of lemon.

    That. Spiteful. Fucking. Bitch. Waitress.

Hey, jealous bitch waitress. Thank you for poisoning me for no reason.

I hope you burn in hell.
