I've never been one to write reviews on the decor or anything else, since I think everyone wants to know about the food. Right?
Want a good burger? A juicy half pound burger char grilled to perfection? With all the sides and crispy fries at a great price? Have at it.. This will be our go to burger place from now on.
I liked the exposed-log-support beams decor here, and service was pretty good, but the kobe burger ($15) did not taste like anything special, or have any unique flavor or juiciness. Â My husband's regular, non-kobe cheeseburger was fine, standard burger fare, but again nothing special. Â Based on all factors, as well as location and big parking lot out back, we would give this place another try, but a big negative was an old country-lawyer-looking guy at the bar, railing loudly about the parasites of society and how even those who lose their jobs really have only themselves to blame. Â Because the place is small, there's no way to get away from an obnoxious bar companion. Â If this is a regular feature, I will avoid the Pour House. Â But I'll probably give it at least another try to see, and perhaps try one of the specials, which seem like much better deals than my kobe burger.
