Tuesday Night Stuffed burger night. 7.99
My husband and I stopped in here for the tuesday night special. Â They have two pages of stuffed burgers to choose from. Â The prices are not bad and the service was good. Â I got the italian burger ( stuffed with italian beef, mozz, guardinara). I would order it again.
Hounds has become one of my new favorite bars/restaurants in the area. Â Whenever I have guests in from out of town, I make it a point to take them here for either lunch, dinner, or the amazing Sunday brunch buffet. Â There aren't too many places in Aurora (if any, that I know of) where you can get brunch/breakfast and a good bloody mary or mimosa. Â The service is always friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. Â It's also a great place to watch a game. Â They have TV's both in the bar area and the restaurant. Â It's definitely very refreshing to have a place like this in the neighborhood.

Â They do their very best to keep riff-raff out, which is more than most places can say in this area. Â Their food is cooked to order EVERY DAY!!! Â I have never once gotten so much as a piece of bad lettuce, I have tried everything from their burgers to their cod and it is all DELICIOUS! Â
The bartenders and wait staff are on the ball, food and drinks are delivered with lightening speed no matter how busy they are. Â The establishment is immaculate, compared to the surrounding restaurants. Â I am a huge fan frequenting local establishments and Hound's is always at the top of my list. Â It is both family and adult friendly depending on whether you sit in the bar or the dining area. Â
I have sent dozens of people here and not a single one has ever had a bad thing to say and most are now die hard regulars. Â I am planning my next birthday bash and this is not only the top of my list, but the only restaurant in Aurora that I would even consider to host any affair of mine.
(As a side note to those who complain about having to pay extra for toppings on tacos... the tacos are a whopping $1 OF COURSE YOU AREN'T GOING TO GET THINGS FOR FREE IT IS A BUSINESS!)
Hounds Blue Moon is a fabulous restaurant! We go there often and always have a good meal. We especially love the Sunday brunch. The amount of food that we can get for the price is unbelievable. You will never leave hungry! The staff is very friendly and is always accommodating. As for the food, the fillet is wonderful, and very inexpensive. The spaghetti is a personal favorite as well. We will never stop going to Hounds and recommend it to anyone who is looking for some great food and friendly service!
Review Source:We went here with another couple on a whim during the week. Â The place was not crowded at all, and the service was mediocre. Â Somehow, we all decided to order the special of the day, which were tacos. Â Lucky for us, all topping cost EXTRA money (this included simple things like cheese and lettuce for each taco). Â
While I wasn't thrilled with my first experience, I'd definitely be willing to go again and try something else on the menu to see if my mind can be changed.
We went here on a Groupon. The atmosphere was nice- the baseball game was on, but not too loud. The bar was not super noisy and there were a lot of people in there.
The food was pretty mediocre. We ordered the onion rings (which they were out), so we got the mozzarella sticks, which were good, the chef's salad, which had brown lettuce in it, and the ravioli, which was comparable to the frozen stuff in the supermarket. My husband had a beer (their tap selection was only four and 3 were along the Budweiser/Miller line) and I had wine, which was good.
We liked the overall atmosphere and would probably go back for the bar only (since they have been running quite a few Groupon Nows). But the food was definitely not worth it, so we won't be eating there again anytime soon.
good drinks for a good price. Â went there for the first time around 10pm to watch the hawks game. Â halfway through the game the owners wife made fresh popcorn for everyone which was really nice of her. Â Bar area is a little small but the few customers that were there seemed to be nice people. Â Felt very safe.

My wife and I have been to Hounds Blue Moon many, many times on weekdays and weekends, for dinners, lunch and Sunday brunch. This is not a fancy, gourmet restaurant and does not pretend to be one. It has established a reputation for providing well prepared and presented meals that range from steaks/chops and fish to wonderful burgers and all for very reasonable prices.
We particularly enjoy their filet mignon, an excellent piece of meat (that could be even better with a marinade), and their burgers served with their excellent home-made chips.
They have nightly specials such as stuffed burgers on Tuesday, Tacos ($1/piece) on Wednesdays, fish fry on Fridays etc. We have never been disappointed.
This place is really close to my work so it's on my quick list for dinner on the way home. I guess they have great specials on Tues & I heard they were short staffed. I found a $5.99 online coupon for a roasted chicken, but was informed there was a 3 hr wait. Guess I could've order my dinner on my lunch hour. Decided to try the Filet which was a great back-up choice-perfectly cooked w/ all the sides. Great steak at a great price I could'nt believe it. One feature that I love here is their side door pick-up entrance which was closed of course w/ no sign or explanation. Trying to p/u my order was an absolute nightmare asking about 4 different people wear a I could pick it up. If you can stand some occasional chaos, this place for the most part has great food at great prices!
Review Source:This place is really great! We went on Tuesday when they have a stuffed burger special and it was super! For under 5 bucks you get a huge burger and choice of sweet potatoe or regular fries! My husband LOVED his goat cheese and carmelized onion burger. I don't eat meat but they were super accomodating and made me an excellent grilled cheese with tomatoes! : ) We will be back!

The owner and his wife are right there to great you when you walk through the door, the service is wonderful. the food is to die for and the serving size gives you enough for several days. if you are in the mood for pasta and wine or one of the "speciality" burgers and beer this is the place for you.
Review Source:This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Aurora. Â If you like the basic eggs, bacon, toast, and hash brown breakfasts, this is the place for you. Â The eggs are cooked to order and come out perfect every time. Â The bacon is thick and crispy, and the hash browns are epitome of crispy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Â Best hash browns ever. Â I think they might use coconut oil, which now studies are saying is good for us. Â I usually get pancakes at other places, but haven't been able to bring myself to order them here because the eggs are so good.
I haven't been here for dinner, but I hear that their stuffed burgers are excellent.
This is a new and improved restaurant where Banek's used to be. I walked in to get a beer at the bar an was amazed by the renovation. i sat at the bar was greeted by the owners brother" Sal" He informed me that the whole family works at the restaurant . The woman that greeted me when i walked in where his sister in- law and his mom. He was so welcoming i asked to see the menu the prices where reasonable. I ordered the ribs and when they arrived all i can say is "WOW". I ordered a half slab and it look like a full slab full of meat. I was enjoying my meal so much i forgot about the game. I will be back and i reccomend this restaurant and say Hi to "Sal" at the he will take care of you.
