House of Blues

Went for the buffet yesterday morning.  This was probably our 5th trip here over the years and might be our last.  We picked it over other breakfast buffets because we thought it was a safer bet than trying something new.  Buffet has fruit, waffles, potatoes, bacon, biscuits with gravy, grits and a egg station.  When our party of 9 hit the buffet the only offerings available were biscuits, bacon and the 15 person deep line for made to order eggs.  Really, why not have a pan of scrambled eggs out?  People were forming lines just to wait for new food to be brought out.  What food we could get was decent and our server was good.  I'll try some place new next time.

Went there yesterday 7/13/2013 and sat at the Bar. First time there! When I walked in was greeted by a hostess and I said I'm heading to the bar. As I walked past the host stand I noticed a waitress standing there and I said "Hey, how are you" and she said fine and as I got 5 steps passed her I was like "OMG that was Lindsey from Myrtle Manor!!!" LOVED that show and she was my favorite on the show and hated that she left. Anyway headed to the bar and thought I've got to get a picture with her! A TV star! Sat at the bat and met Daniel & Christine and another BT who was just leaving, didn't get his name. I noticed that they had Titos vodka right off the bat and Daniel and I started talking about vodka. It was Happy Hour which was nice, nothing wrong with $2.50 Bud Lights. I let the BT's know that I'd like to get that pic with Lindsey and she obliged!!! We talked for a few minutes about the show and what not, good times! Thanks Lindsey! Daniel and I had something else in common, besides bartending, we both served in the US Navy and both had the same rate! Good times sharing sea stories! Started to get hungry and being a "Wing Guy" was very happy that Daniel made it happen. The wings were AMAZING! Grilled, tossed in sauce with Jamaican Jerk sauce on the side! Pratically slid off the bone!! Ridiculous!! Then I had the Heat Seeker burger and that's when I met Jessica the new bartender who just came on. Great conversation with her. Being a bartender I critique where ever I go and all three were great! It's just what we do. In the end I had a great experience and now that I'm a local I will be back to see them!

Disappointed, my food was ok and so was the service, but they just were not organized and had several items on the menus that were not available.  We had such a good experience at the one in Downtown Disney in Orlando this past winter so we were looking forward to coming to this won, but it was not the same.
