Overtime Sports Cafe

Good ambience and a varied selection of appetizers. More than your typical bar-grub too; I had their 5 appetizer sampler which came with chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and wings. All of them were tasty. I do have to say the menu is varied, and does have a good selection of salads (including fat free dressing).

The French dip sandwich I ordered, though, fell a bit flat. First it was an open-faced sandwich, a concept that doesn't really work well when dipping in the au jus. The beef was a bit tough and under seasoned. Additionally, the au jus was merely warm, cooling down within a few minutes of digging in.

Go with good company and stick with appetizers, you'll have a sweet time.

We really enjoy Overtime!  Buzztime trivia, friendly service, and awesome chicken fingers...  If  you are looking for a sports bar with an incredible number of TV's... this is your place!!!

We were visiting from Chicago and chose Overtime because of the reviews on yelp and they were showing the Bulls playoff game. Arrived last night, 4/21/11 (party of 8). The place had tv's everywhere and looked amazing! The service was terrible at best! Josh was our waiter.
1.) took 1 hour to get food after ordering.
2.) most of our food was cold, warm at best.
3.) The wings still had feathers on them!
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
Spoke with mngr. He made excuses for the bad service. Here's a few;
"you ordered well done food"
"busy night" (c'mon, it's a Thursday)
"we sat in a busy section". Finally the mngr. offered to discount our meal. It should've been free for all of the inconvenience. Josh was nice and the mngr. was nice. This place would be awesome if they get your food to you hot, w/out feathers in them, and in a reasonable time.
BOTTOM LINE:
Service was terribly slow. I just can't recommend this place.
