If you are looking for a GREAT place eat, meet, listen to live music, and dance then you gotta check out Boom Boom's in North Myrtle Beach.  My wife and I go there everytime we are in town and  always loved it.  They have a very large outdoor deck/patio called the "Boom Dock" where the beach bands play and folks can dance.  It sits on the water where numerous boats are docked providing a beautiful backdrop.  Be sure to check out their specials.  Last night we went there to hear the Craig Woolard Band (one of our favorites) and have dinner.  Both were fantastic.  The special last night was fresh mackerel cut into steaks approx 2 1/2 inches thick and grilled to perfection served with baked potato and mixed veggies for $14.95.  I believe that was the best grilled mackerel I have ever eaten.  

Boom Boom's is a very friendly resturant / dance club with a terrific staff.  It has become one of our all time favorite places to go while visiting the beach.
