Noble's Cafe and Lounge

This little nugget of goodness is nestled in the back of a village type atmosphere that is so lovely, you won't want to leave it.  

If you don't look for the sign on your right, while heading west before Carolina Shores Golf Club, you'll miss it and I feel so sorry for you if you do.  This family run Cafe is more than a cafe, it offers a variety of flavorful lunch and dinner meals found no where else in Calabash.  Chef Buddy was trained at the Culinary Institute of America and incorporates a variety of sauces and seasonings that compliment and bring forth the flavor of the seafood, meat, and pasta dishes, once again, as no one else in Calabash has done.  The coffee was excellent, the service - excellent, and a table-side visit from Lisa lends to the family atmosphere.  Maureen, our waitress was attentive and friendly without being overbearing.  

Additionally, the view from our table of the Carolina Shores Golf Course across the pond, was relaxing and beautiful.  

The only recommendation I can make, which would bring this unique and homey cafe to 5 stars is to change the music from a radio station to a more relaxing type of music.  Crazy as you may think this sounds, an easy listening or big band sound, softly played, would fit the atmosphere perfectly.

We'll definitely be back to Noble's Cafe in Calabash, NC!
