Had my sons first communion celebration here; the set up, food and service were beyond expectation!!!

I've been to H.O.M.E. twice, once on a Friday night and once on a Saturday night.  Both experiences were nothing special.

The bar is HUGE and is divided into two spaces: the main sports bar area and a back room with a stage for performances and dancing.  The main area is really spread out. There is only one bar, which is a square shape with about four to five bar tenders inside.  You would think it would be easy to get a drink, but it is not.  The price for the drinks is average and they do have drink specials and a wide selection.  What didn't impress me was when the bartender told me my drink was $5.50, I gave her $6.00 in cash and she never returned with my change even after I tried flagging her down.  I thought it was rude to assume she was going to get a tip.  Yes, I would have tipped, but that is just not a good business practice.

The Friday night I was there, the back room was opened since a DJ started a set at midnight.  There were some sort of glow sticks that they were handing out.  My friends seemed to be enjoying themselves.  Naturally, it was super loud back there and you couldn't hear anything/find anyone if they disappeared into the crowd.  I also must have seen four or five people get kicked out while I was there.  Even the guys I was with noticed.  I'm not sure what all these people could have done to get kicked out.  Be careful and watch yourself!

The Saturday night I was there, the back room was closed and the front room, while huge, was super crowded.  It was difficult to maneuver through people and even harder to get a drink, the whole point of a bar.  There was a DJ who was playing music I enjoyed, but since the back room wasn't open there was minimal dance space in front of the DJ booth, which was surrounded by tables people had reserved.  Again, it was really, really loud to the point where you could barely carry on a conversation with the person next to you.

I had to pay cover both times ($5) which I think is ridiculous for a bar in the suburbs.  At least it's not as bad as $7 at Durty Nelly's.  My friend (girl) who arrived after midnight didn't have to pay.  Another friend of mine was told he couldn't enter with the jacket he was wearing (somewhat raggedy, but not in shambles or anything) and was told he wouldn't have to pay cover if he left his coat in the car.  They're weird about cover.  FYI.

I wouldn't ever suggest to come here, but if my friends wanted to go I wouldn't refuse.  I'm headed there tonight for a 'Girls Night Out' event so we'll see how that pans out.  Hopefully it will change my view for the positive.

Impressive looking place although the waitresses are dressed way to sleazy. Pretty big but that is mostly because it in a huge non-desriptive strip mall that has had trouble getting tennants. I highly doubt tis place will be around in a couple of years.

Don't charge $45 for VIP Stage Seating where you can't see a thing nor meet the band. Waste of money. Never Returning here again.

For being a "music venue" they really do need to get their act together.  I saw two bands yesterday, the first band did a sound check for no less than 15 minutes and the  second band had to take a break because you could hear the singer only every few minutes or so.  I felt bad for the singer, he was SO angry at the sound people. So, lost a few stars there.  The place was HUGE, really nothing special, though.

Oh, my. I went there to see a friend's band one night and it was crazzzzy. The ambulance came quite a few times. Saw a girl lying unconscious in the front of the building with her breast exposed as her shirt had fallen down when she fell. Ayayay. There were about 5 cops standing there doing nothing. Would only go back if someone I wanted to see was performing there.

This place is pretty worth checking out. It's freaking huge. You walk in and its got a very large space with a bar some mini pool tables and video games, and seating. Some of the seating are booths completed with table taps that dispense two beers and two liquors depending where you are seated and what you ask them to turn on. The light beers as i recall were a very fair price at the tables. The other, better tasting beers are a little pricey but pretty much what i would expect from a bar. The pours are pretty weak but its a business so i guess i get it, i just wouldn't waste my cash on it unless i brought a flask to add my own. The atmosphere is pretty nice, seems to be a fairly diverse crowd.

There is a back room which has got to be at least twice the size of the front area in which they have a couple more bars a large stage and some VIP seating. They have many large names that come put on shows and a wide variety of music genres.

Great awesome bathrooms. Really nice waitresses and front doormen. Usually decent bartenders that i run into. Definitely worth checking out for the personal knowledge but unless you have alot of money to spend its not an every time thing

I heard about this place and was interested in checking it out during its quieter moments so I went there for lunch.  (I'm sure I'll return later when the music is thumping or a live music show is going on.)  But this time I just went to see the place and have some food.  I went with a friend and he ordered the club sandwich, I ordered the pulled pork.  The bartender said it's like "pulled pork sushi" meaning how they cut it and serve it.  (I uploaded a picture).  The pork was delicious.  It was very tender and wrapped in a pastry with just enough barbeque sauce to add that flavor.  It was plenty of food but I wanted to try their desserts.  The bartender (who was waiting the two tables that were occupied because the regular waitress was ill) said they don't have desserts yet.  I said, "Well how about coffee."  He said the coffee machine broke.  No big deal.  In general the dining experience was great.  The music was well-balanced in the background.   It wasn't hard to carry on a conversation or hear the music.  At the other table were two couples with a baby that slept the whole meal.

So I walked around the place and snapped pictures (I uploaded them) and in general I was very surprised and impressed by the upscale look of the place.  Much like you'd expect in a Chicago dance club.  It's definitely not intended simply for drunken kids who don't care about anything except loud music and flowing liquor.  This is a well laid out venue for watching sports on their unlimited TVs or listening to music (DJ in the front by the dining tables) and live music in the back in the room that they call the Home Theater.  There is one bar in the front, fully stocked, and two in the Home Theater.  The Home Theater is intended for standing crowds, though there are booths that can be reserved in the back of the room and a VIP section that has spending minimums.

If you are staying away because you think it's a kid's hangout, it might be when it gets busy, but as nice as the place is, I don't care if there are a lot of young people there enjoying the music with me, I'm going back.

Still no stars for your staff thinking it was funny to post this and then tag me in it on facebook, grade A staff you got there! Just further proves the point of how trashy this place is and the staff that makes me despise it even more.

Always a great time to be had. Love the atmosphere and the group of people that show up each night. Good-looking crowd and fun too.

Very disappointing!  Claim to serve $1 Labatz during Blackhawks games.  Went there Friday night for the game lots of empty tables and out of $1beers before the 1st period was over.  Waited for 20 minutes before a waitress took our order, took another 20 mins. to get the drinks then another 20 to get our change.  Wait staff dress in skimpy dresses and look like customers.  Want to say again it was not that crowded!  Not sure which was worst the bait and switch with the beer or the slow service.  Upside you won't have to worry about have one to many

WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB SCREEEEEEE WUGGA WUGGA WUGGA

Sorry, didn't mean to drop the bass that early.

HOME is just not my kind of place. I went to play darts with a couple of friends a while back and I knew as soon as I walked in that I was too old, too sober, and too clothed for HOME.

Maybe if I was already really drunk and wanted to dance to a dubstep mashup of Call Me Maybe and Gangnam Style, I'd go back.

Not a bad place for a suburban bar. It's spacious with pool tables, two huge bars, a separate stage room where bands perform and the decor is modern. I like "saloon" dive bars sometimes with some throwback music, but i love my techno and electro and more upscale places...this place is definitely a little more upscale than you usual dive bar. It reminds me of Barleycorn only with more creepy people. Besides the top 40 garbage, and cover charge, I like this place. The bouncers are cool and the bartenders are friendly. Hey anything for better tips right?

First learned of this place through someone who used to bartend at drink nightclub in Schaumburg who now works here. When I heard it was in Arlington Heights and that it was a "club," I sort of laughed to myself. A nightclub in the suburbs is few and far between. It wasn't until a couple months later that I decided to give this place a try, when a friend invited me to come out. I agreed on the condition that I wouldn't have to pay cover. I checked out photos online beforehand, something I always do before going to a new bar. Place looked spacious and clean, but not nearly as big as it really is. Had no idea there is a whole separate events room in the back. The night before we went Twista performed there! I don't know about all of you, but Twista is the shiznit! I remember listening to him in high school. I don't know any rapper who is lyrically as quick as he is. Anyway, I thought that was a big deal. I called to ask about the cover and the girl who I spoke with said they normally don't charge unless an event is going on. That night, a UFC fight was on tv, so they were charging $5, but only after 9:30. We met up with a few friends when we arrived and sat at a small table near the pool tables. Our other friends were sitting at a booth with not one, not two, but four taps at each booth! And I've only seen beer taps at table tops, never liquor taps, but they had those! So Co, Jack Daniels and two beer taps were at our friends' booth. Our waitress at the small table by the pool tables was really sweet & attentive. She checked on us regularly and had a few conversations with us. We wanted to move and go sit with our other friends at the booth, but they had a different waitress (who they said was awful, btw; didn't even know what Leinenkugel was or that it was a beer!). We told our server we wanted to keep her and asked if she could transfer over to the booth. She spoke to the other ditzy waitress, who replied that she didn't have many tables at that point, so we decided to stay put until we were done with a round of drinks and appetizer. The combo appetizer plate was delish! Totally better than your typical combo platter. It had stuffed potato skins that were more like stuffed mini potatoes with pulled pork in them. The food quality was really good and I really want to go back for lunch or dinner. There was enough food for three of us, plus leftover food. I ordered a somewhat complicated beer and our server accidentally brought me the wrong one. I didn't even realize it until I was 3/4 of the way finished, but no big deal because she was so cool, I didn't mind at all. She comped my next beer, a Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale. Beer selection is pretty damn good considering the type of bar it is. They have a few microbrew/craft beers, which made me very happy because that is usually what I order. Prices are pretty good, too. A mixed drink was only $5, I believe.
Later after the fight, they clear some of the tables in the seating area where the table taps are. There is a little stage where a DJ spun. I was hesitant to dance. I usually only dance when there are a good amount of others dancing, which eventually happened as the night went on. The place filled up pretty quickly. There were some pretty good dancers, some plain good, some plain funny and no more than that. A very fun & entertaining night, I must say. Sean (who we know from drink) is a very entertaining and quick bartender. He knows what he's doing so order all your drinks from him! A fight just about broke out towards the end of the night, but was broken apart quickly. At the very end of the night, I'd say around 2:30 or 3:00, the servers get on platforms and the bar top and pour flavored liquor into your mouth, and it's free! Probably very weak liquor, but still awesome! All you gotta do is walk up to them and open your mouth. I am definitely planning on returning, whether it's just to eat or for another fun night. My friend went here for  New Years Eve and said it was insane fun.

I kept driving past this place, but it was never open... now it finally did!  I met up with two of my friends here to watch the UFC fights on the Saturday night before NYE.  I got there a little before 9:30 PM, so I did not have to pay the $5 cover... yay!  Something has always bothered me about paying cover in the suburbs!

The inside of the bar is nice, they even have table tappers at the booths.  Since I came a little later into the fight there were not booths available so we settled on a table near the pool tables.  It seemed like more people my age were in this area.  The section with the booths was a much younger just turned 21 still in college looking crowd.  I think that is because the DJ was going to be setup here at 11.

The drinks were pretty cheap.  My well vodka mixed drinks were $5.  I really want to like this place... but I felt a bit too old to be here... and I am only 26!

Also, a ton of cabs line were lined up outside all night which I thought was an awesome way to deter people from driving drunk!

Amazing bar for the suburbs...Can't find anything like this unless you drive to the city. Huge beer selection and so many TVs. On the Weekends they always have something going on, whether its a DJ or live band. I saw 7th Heaven in their theater and the sound was amazing.

It's the best of both worlds for friends who are into a little bit of everything. Sports, dancing, pool tables, dart boards, buck hunter.

And their menu has a little bit for everyone. Pizza, burgers, tacos, wings, salads.

    I definitely will be back.

I agree with the other reviewers; this place definitely has potential and is a pretty great place, however, it's similar to a teenaged girl "trying to find herself."

The place is very open with; a table area w/several TV's and table beer taps, a large bar, a pool and shuffleboard area, a large floor for standing, and a theater-stage in the back. I think there needs to be a DEFINED dance floor. It's a large open place, but a bit of area differentiation would be great.
Drinks were average priced. They have a GREAT beer selection and some daily specials. I'd go back, but I'm in no hurry.

Loved everything bout it!! The whole inside setup is great. Drinks r fairly cheap....as long as u don't get beer. Cuz beer was over priced... They have separate areas for just hanging out and sitting to drink and also another area where u can dance. There r bars set up all over the place. The bathrooms r nice and clean. The crowd seems a lil young but nothing to major. Arlington heights needed a place like this!!! This town been dead long enough lol the only downside to it is that u have to pay a cover... A hefty $10....which is the reason y I gave it 4 stars.... I think for being open for a lil over a month charging a cover is a bad idea if u want people to keep coming back.....

Great venue!  Burbs really needs a place like this.  Clean, spacious and very nice space.  Can't wait to see who they book!  Saw Thunder from Down Under on the 8th and my first time to the venue.  Show was okay, but was wowed by the venue.

Bar tenders very nice, couldn't tell who were the servers or bar staff.  It's new so I am sure they will continue to refine their process, but overall loved the space!

OK - I'll give the place four stars as the burbs haven't seen a nightclub such as this in quite some time. That said, my visit was on the second day of the place being open and there are quite a few kinks that need to be worked out.
Capacity is around 1,500 - about 1,000 in the back where the stage is and around 500 in the front where there's a DJ, a few pool tables and a good sized bar. I was told that food service at the soft opening on Friday night was a little slow - on the 2nd day it was almost too fast. Ordered a pepper cheese burger and it was out about a minute (seriously) later - almost a sign of par cooking. I ordered it medium rare and it was mostly rare - OK by me, but the plate came out w/o any garnishes - only the steak fries which were decent. The bartender retrieved the "outstanding attributes" for me.
Can't speak for the ladies room, but the men's room is a little tiny - currently 4 stalls plus 3 "stand-ups" with a 4th "phantom" spot that doesn't have a urinal in it. Valet came around 11PM and was really good - though the bathroom is a little small for him to work the place.
Drink prices are reasonable. The place has atmosphere but lacks identity/personality at this time - maybe that will come at some point. Age range was from 21-61 - since I'm at the higher end of that spectrum, it was fine with me - again at some point the clientele will become more pronounced as time passes.
It was easy to tell that most of the employees had not had much training - all of them put their best foot forward, but knowledge and consistency is lacking so far. One thing that disturbed me was seeing a rack of glassware being set out for use and in two instances there were glasses that came out of the DW that were stacked ON TOP of each other - in other words, the top glass could not have been cleaned properly. Also appears that most waitresses there have never held a food or cocktail tray - mots were "two-handing" them.
As clubbing in the burbs goes, this place is top shelf right now - but compared to some of the clubs that were around several years back, it lacks the pizazz that those places had; like most clubs today it solely depends on TV monitors and loud music to entertain people.
