Went for the first time Saturday night - early show at 8pm for my brother-in-law's birthday. Had a complete blast. The comedians were hilarious.
The only negative thing was the wait staff...I know they have a whole lot of people to get too but they took to long to bring drinks -sometimes even forgetting drinks and not bringing them and someone having to remind them. My friend didn't even get asked if she wanted a drink the first time around - I already had my drink and we had been sitting there 20 minutes before they even came and asked if she had been helped. So service sucks but the comedians definitely made up for it.
I will definitely go again! :o)
I've only been here twice but both times I've had a blast. Â They do offer a non-smoking show-slot which I'm a huge fan of because I'm allergic to it; I think laws might have forced it to be 100% smoke-free - but do not quote me on that. Â The opening acts can sometimes be hit or miss but I've had a great time with all of the headliners I've seen and generally we just pick up and decide we're going without any prior knowledge of the headliner.
The food is good for a comedy/bar thing - of course it's going to be a little greasy, but it's still good!
It does have a full bar and very attentive wait staff - I know little to nothing about alcohol but everyone else has always been happy with their drinks. Â I just got the thing with the flashing cube in it - that made me one happy duck.
Definatly go online and check out their website and see if they have any cupons or group discounts; we've gotten some great deals that way. Â There's also a night when it's cheapest to go, but I've forgotten.
When I lived in Arlington I would go here quite a few times. This place has a 2-drink min. and they do serve food. The food is better than you would think coming from a comedy club. If you sign up for their email alerts they will normally give you like 12 free tickets for you and your friends. I think I have been to this location like 5 times. Every time I go I never have any problems at all. They also have special events here like a New Years Eve party and a great Valentines show. On the New Years show they had party hats and noise makers, a toast at midnight and a few other free gifts. On the Valentines Day show they gave everyone a free glass of bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries. My wife and I really like going to comedy clubs. Even though it is a comedy club the Valentines show was really romantic and cool.
