Man, I went in there not knowing what to expect and came knowing that greatness lives in that place.
The bartenders were ridiculously nice, and fast. I waited no more than 45 seconds for a drink on a Friday at 11:45pm.(happened 2x more after that)
The bouncer was really cool, former military, and knew his stuff about wine and food. I work in restaurants, and never thought I'd have a conversation about braising pork shoulder and Burgundy, at midnight in a "dive bar."
The manager, who I didn't realize was also the owner(?), took me on a tour of the place because I had mentioned that I've never been. They were introducing their new patio space and his plans for the future, sounds cool. Projector, screen, movie nights, all that jazz. Place is enormous out there.
I happened to be in that neighborhood for a show prior to going, no I know where I'll go when I'm ever back in that part of town.
Oh! Best part. I mentioned the poster of "the Dude" on the wall. And it turns out that they had a second version just sitting in behind a speaker. It was a painted version on masonite and they gave it to me! Now I'm not saying go in there and expect that to happen, but man, just go in there!
"...taking it easy for all of us sinners out there..."
Good hang out  dive bar style. I'm  fine with a smoking bar and  if you don't like don't go . I feel they need better ventilation to knock the smell down.
The place has limited parking. Â So that can be an issue.
Nice size bar plenty of room to sit or stand. Jukebox music not  loud so you can still talk and hear. DJ was setting up for latter. We are to old to stay up late. lol...
This building has been here for years just a new bar trying to make it. Arlington needs places like this to go and hang out. This town needs some nightlife. So go out and give them a try. Keep Arlington alive at night.
