Twisted Root

I've come here a few times and tried different things and have never been impressed.  Their burgers never have much flavor and are always overcooked and dry.  Also, apparently they put breadcrumbs in their meat, so it's a meatloaf on a bun.  Not a burger.  I also enjoyed their variety of toppings, but you better pile them on so you can have a decent burger!  Also, I understand they offer gluten free buns, but I like my burger without a bun.  However, when I try to order a gluten free burger without a bun, they never understand.  So, I usually get sick here.  Because of this, I'll never eat here again.  However, I really did enjoy their spicy ketchup and variety of sauces.  

I wouldn't go here for an overpriced burger with little flavor.  Definitely avoid Twisted Root if you are not gluten intolerant/celiac

Best burger experience in a long time! I only wish my husband were here. He's a burger fanatic and would be in heaven. Everything they fry is absolutely amazing. Especially loved the green beans and chewy sweet potatoes. It's a LOT of food, so come hungry or share.

Got a root beer float and she handed me two cups - one half full of ice cream and another so that, as she said, I wouldn't have to keep getting up to get more root beer. Oh, yeah!

The staff was friendly, the service fast and the decor kitschy and kind of fun. If I'm ever in the area with my hubby, I will definitely take him there (mainly so he could finish my fried stuff - had to toss about 2/3 of it because I couldn't eat it all and TSA had a cow.)

Excellent burger. Good root beer. Liked the bread and butter pickles a lot. Would definitely go back.
